Took the complimentary shuttle bus from JR Kamaeoka station provided by the Ryokan. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by someone who personally attended to me and brought me to my room.
I selected the room package that came with dinner as well as breakfast and they were all served in-room. Food was really good and fresh and again I was being attended to during the meals.
The ryokan also had an outdoor and indoor onsen and although it wasnt very big but it was good enough as the ryokan...

Excellent location with excellent staff service. It is literally located beside the Hon Sasayama bus stop and the Kawaramachi district. Impressed with the staff who noticed that I was fully drenched from the rain and immediately handed me a towel during check in! They also offer a bar with free flowing beer, sake, soft drink and post onsen ice cream. However, do note that you need to take a 20 min bus ride from JR Sasayama Station if you are not driving.

Staff were hospitable,helpful & delegated. Lobby gives an impression of an old hotel. But room & facilities are well maintained & clean. Food (breakfast & dinner) were well prepared in traditional Japanese style. Shutter bus service made transfer easy from Ikeda station. We, family of 4, enjoyed our 2 days stay in this Ryokan.

Excellent stay. Near to train station and Kyoto main station. A supermarket and drug store right downstairs. Onsen was great especially after a long day walk to soothe aching calves and feet. Lounge provides some snacks and drinks, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.

The hotel feels very new and chic! I stayed two nights and loved it. Located within walking distance from Osaka Station, as well as Nakanoshima Park which is lovely for a stroll. There are early morning coffee options nearby (Glitch, Brooklyn), as well as a Family Mart just downstairs. The hotel bar is a nice spot to relax in the evenings.
Room is spotlessly clean, well designed, comfortable and has good sound proofing. I slept very well. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future.
