This is a lovely home perched on a hill just on the edge of town. An excellent place to rest and recharge before starting the camino. I particular enjoyed the back patio for the sunrise in the morning and sunset at night. Skip the hustle and noise of downtown for this perfect respite. You’ll be treated to a marvelous breakfast as well!

A lovely Chambres to start the Camino!
A delightful chambres with a warm and charming and hospital host. Super clean, lovely, comfortable room and bed with a veranda overlooking the town, a mere ten minute walk away. Quiet, comfortable, charming. A super spot to begin the camino. Highly recommend. Merci Bernat (sp?)!

Comfortable place to stay in St. Jean
I stayed here for one night before starting the Camino. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the extra mile--literally--that Michelle went for me as she drove me around St. Jean after I had lost my passport! The hotel is about a half mile from the center of town, so that should be considered. I didn't mind the walk.

Fabulous accommodation!
Hotel is a short walk from town with gorgeous views along the way. Very clean and well appointed room. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly with great advice about the area and the Camino. Breakfast was very good with special touches like fresh from the bakery breads and homemade yogurt! Excellent coffe!! Enjoyed chatting and visiting with other guests. Highly recommended.

Great stay!
Very quiet nice room with a good view. Furniture and the room ambience was so cute! And I loved the home made yoghurt for breakfast!! All in all a wonderful stay!

Outstanding host and hostess
Lovely hosts - very much enjoyed the conversation. Wonderful hillside view, very comfortable room. Hosts were also extremely with directions to their place and for our drive to Roncevilles - enjoyed every minute. Town of St. Jean-Pied-du-Pont - not to be missed!

A treat before the Camino
We stopped.there before.starting the Camino. Our train came in late, yet the owner stayed up for us and served us a later breakfast. Although basic, it has everything we needed!

Wonderful Host made our stay DELIGHTFUL!!
The B&B was on the outskirts of town but with probably the best view of all. The host went the extra mile to be helpful. I'd go back tomorrow!!!

Le séjour a été très plaisant, le petit déjeuner était excellent avec des produits fait maison. De plus, les hôtes ont été de bon conseil et nous ont très bien accueillis.

Chambre d'hôtes très accueillante.
Très bon séjour chez nos hôtes qui sont vraiment accueillants et aux petits soins pour leurs clients. Le petit déjeuner est un plus car il est copieux, varié et bon. La chambre et la salle de bain sont un peu petites mais bon on est là pour faire du tourisme: la situation de la maison nous a permis de "visiter" les Aldudes et la forêt d'Iraty. Je recommande vraiment cette chambre d'hôtes.

Le lieu est assez exceptionnel, surplombant un endroit magnifique. Idéal pour se reposer au calme dans un lieu authentique et typiquement basque. Autrement dit, il est parfait pour ce que je suis venu trouver, et j'y reviendrai assurément et au plus vite !

Sólo hemos pernoctado una noche pero la casa estaba en un entorno maravilloso, la habitación era grande, el baño un poquito justo pero muy limpio y cómodo. El matrimonio era amabilísimo, el desayuno de fábula, productos naturales, artesanos (elaborados por ellos mismos). Muy cerquita del pueblo y Saint Jean du Pied de Port es precioso.

Et ualmindeligt godt ophold. Meget gæstfri værter. Stedet ligger lidt afsides så der er stille men kun 10 min gang til den meget hyggelige by Saint Jean Pied de Port. Hvis man er til cykling er gode muligheder i området
