Staff were professional and extremely helpful. Both at reception and the restaurants. The cleaners unfortunately spoke Portuguese, so put my requests in at the front desk. Excellent choice at breakfast. Buffet in the evenings also had a great choice. As soon as food ran out, it was quickly replaced, both breakfast and dinner. On 2 occasions, the lifts stopped working, but was quickly fixed. Great location, 3 mins to the beach and 15 mins walk into town. Decaf coffee in rooms, but ask and regular coffee is provided. Lovely hotel, slept very well. Had a really relaxing holiday. Would stay again at the Hilton.

The location for enjoying the beach was perfect! There is a lovely long clean beach with lounge chairs and shade for guests. Nice dining options. We stayed primarily at the resort due to travel timing but the nearby town was cute.

HOTEL IS NOT A TRUE 5 STARS.ROOM OK BUT BELOW EXPECTATIONS.STAFF IS AVERAGELY NOT SO KIND WITH THE GREAT EXCEPTIONS OF KLEBER OF THE RECEPTION THE BARMAN ALADINO AND CARLOS AND MARIA GRAÇA FROM THE HOUSEKEEPER. BREKFAST IS REALLY AVERAGE AND NOT ACCORDINGLY TO A 5 STARS. WE CAN EVEN UNDERSTAND THE INTENTION OF DIFFERENTIATE THE HOTEL FROM OTHER ALL INCLUDED HOTELS IN THE ISLAND BUT THERE IS NOT EVEN DECENT BAR WHERE TO ENJOY A LITTLE. THE ONLY BAR IN THE HOTEL CLOSE AT 22:00. GOOD TO REST BUT... THE BEST OF THE HOTEL IS THE LOCATION BUT IN OUR OPINION DON'T WORTHY THE MONEY VALUE

Hotel,very clean,great gardens,fabulous large room,comfortable bed,great bathroom, but the air conditioning turns off every time you open (not leave it open)just open the balcony door,so if you sit on balcony when you return to the room area it’s hot!!I understand the air conditioning going off it the door left open for a period of time,but not instantly! Also we missed dressing gowns and slippers I think for priced we paid they should be included!we realised on last they where available at request,maybe the hotel should offer ?maybe a note in the room? Also balcony was very small versus the size of room and our view was mainly trees and a peek of sea view..and the bar was under our balcony which made it not that private and a bit noisy. Reception staff very good,breakfast was amazing,lovely staff at breakfast,great coffee ,everything you could ever what available for breakfast. The staff at pool good,but think sunbed service would add to experience and surely you would increase sales? The staff at bounty bar during the day I found them uninterested and had a long wait,each time we went there,I think this area could do with a tidy up and maybe some new furniture on the beach.. In the evening we visited twice,the service was great,but both times I had to return my food Luke warm,bland very disappointing. The pool.sunbed,towels,beach area, all really good,though some of the wooden items around umbrella are looking untidy. Overall would revisit and recommend hotel.

The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were wonderful. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Lots of sun lounges around the large pool. It was an easy walk to the main tourist and dining area in Santa Maria

Amazing stay because of amazing staff!
This was an amazing stay! I would recommend this hotel without reservation! This is largely because of the amazing staff, from the front desk staff, the spa staff (I had an awesome massage and body treatment), to the waitstaff and the xleaning staff! I truly hope the hotel takes care of its employees, because they deserve it! The staff took care of every need with a smile, which is not easy given the difficult jobs they hold!

+ Beautiful hotel with a wonderful garden. + Staff at breakfast are delightful. - Comically awful receptionists. The guys at the front desk should honestly not be working in a customer facing position. - Do not get the room with “sea view” - trust me, there is no sea view. - Overcharging and “mistakes” by staff. - Fire alarm going off randomly at night with no apology or explanation offered. - Annoying “credit” system for opening a tab and charging on the room Massively overpriced for what you get. Regret staying here.

Good hotel with modern rooms. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool area surrounded by palms. Just back from the beach where there was a good seafood restaurant. Walking along the beach up to the town centre felt safe at night. We had a baby with us and so it was a good first stay in Cabo Verde.

Birthday Treat
I was here for a short 4-night stay as a treat to myself for my birthday. The hotel is beautiful, clean and everyone was helpful. I felt safe walking around Santa Maria, and there’s a decent amount of things to see/do on Sal island. It was the perfect respite, I’d genuinely love to return.

Nice property and facilities. Was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our Cabo Verde trip and given price/value expectations we were disappointed with breakfast and functioning of shower.

Great place to stay! Beautiful hotel with great views, pool, and beach access. Breakfast Buffett was great. Only negative side was a clear shortage of poolside and beach chairs, which led to people hoarding them.

Great stay
Perfect location on the outskirts of Santa Maria. Excellent wifi. Very good buffet food. Towels included. Beautiful gardens to sunbathe/lounge in. Pool is not heated so chilly on cloudy days. Beds were comfortable but slightly too soft for me. Large spacious kingsize room. Twin room was smaller and the "ocean view" was not great as the balcony overlooked the vacant plot next door awaiting the casino to be built. Staff were very good but we had a few minor misunderstandings due to language barrier. 70 euros for private taxi return to airport was too much for a ride in a shabby bald-tyred minibus with a cracked windscreen, broken door handle and no seatbelts. There are plenty of official taxis cheaper.

Beautiful hotel
This hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Only down side is likely due to covid, there was no one to be found for service. It also always nice to get upgraded and I assumed that due to the hotel being 90% vacant they would have done something. That being said I can’t complain as I got the room I paid for.

Lovely, comfortable hotel on a beautiful beach
We have stayed at a few hotels in Cape Verde and this is our favourite by far, amazing food, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, nice pool ( not hot but refreshing!) Nice beach bar and on a stunning part of the beach. They do the best milk shakes at the pool bar! We really enjoyed our stay here although it was only 3 nights as we were moving around the islands. It could do with a table tennis table.

We were very pleased with the property, the amenities, Magellan’s food and Everton at the front desk. He was very helpful throughout the entire week. My kids miss Sal already. We didn’t like the 6hr wait to get in our room even though I requested an early check-in since our flight was supposed to arrive at 5:30 am. Maybe accommodate early Arrival?

It was a good experience. Staff were nice and friendly. The waiters sometimes forgot our orders though. But all in all, a nice stay. The rooms and the hotel look exactly like in the pictures.

Rooms nice and modern and spacious. Gardens beautiful. Location great. Staff very helpful and friendly but levels of English limited which sometimes lead to misunderstandings. Pool looked gorgeous but was in heated and too cold.

Beautiful and peaceful place, really nice staff. Amazing beach. Love the beach restaurant too, they could change up and or have more menu variety there though. Thank you for an amazing time!

Hilton hotel is very new in Cabo Verde, one year old, I believe. Service, food, facilities are of very good standard. Very friendly staff. Location is superb. Can’t really recall anything that I didn’t like.
