Great place to enjoy our honeymoon. It’s quite, safe and easy access to the Ruins and Paradise Beach. It’s far from Santa Fe Port though but we rented out motorbikes to explore around the area. The property is clean but could do better. The hairdryer was broken but they gave us replacement right away which is nice. The staffs are friendly. I just wished they offer more drink options (alcohol) they have wines but pricey. Overall, we like the place and would love to come back.

They should treat there customer in friendly way. Woman who works there are so unfriendly and can't even smile at you. Plus I paid too much extra because if you have family to come visit you, You have to pay 200 pesos entrance and if your family going swimming its 500 pesos just ridiculous.....And too much noise because they have construction going on. Even my daughter doesn't want to stay another night. That's how horrible the place is. Not a good experience. we didn't enjoy at all. just horrible experience.

Good silent stay
The staff could make the general service better. Not clean towels every day, no cleaning after the first night. Place of the resort is wonderfull. Good breakfast. Hot water in shower did not work very well because of unequal waterpressure.

Thank you for the fair review, actually we change towels every other day unless guests request everyday. Had you asked for replacement, our staff could have provided you. As to room cleaning, as a matter of policy they clean everyday, maybe there was a misunderstanding. As to waterlines i already checked the cause, they said they have corrected it already. I am very sorry we were not able to serve you as axpected.

The property and its location is great as long as you are conscious of exactly where it's located and how distant it is from Santa Fe - the main tourist center in Bantayan where all of the restaurants are; it is a solid 20 minute bike ride away. On the upside however is the privacy. It's in a very secluded part of Bantayan; so if privacy and tranquility are your priorities - and pretty much all of the beach areas of Bantayan are quiet and relaxing - then this Kandugyap won't disappoint. My only complaint is that I felt a bit deceived by the established and whether it was intentional or not is uncertain, however essentially I booked their 2 floor villa/house for 6 people for $80 only to discover upon arrival that that rate is for only 2 guests which is absurd because who would book a 2 floor giant home for only 2 guests? And thus, we were asked to pay an additional $200 (10k pesos) for accommodate for the 6 guest vacancy. I'm not sure if this is a genuine marketing blunder by Kandugyap or Expedia, however nonetheless common sense in my mind says nobody books a giant 2-floor home for just 2 people. And lastly, there were little to no toiletries in the shower and restroom. For the price paid and other resorts available in Bantayan that offer similar sized villas for a similar price - such as Coral Blue - I felt a little bit of neglect on the staff's end towards the guests. They weren't rude or anything, but again when the price reaches a certain threshold, expectations rise.

We are not deceiving our guests sir, we have different charges for 2 which is php4,500 and for 6 at php8,500. With expedia they have option for more than 3 and less than 6 people. On the absence of toiletries, i will address it. But the best that you should have done was to ask from the staff. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

This is our second stay at Kandugyap, the place is awesome! The staff are always very courteous and treat their customers well. While the facility is slightly outside of Sante Fe proper, it is a quiet retreat that is close enough to go into town on a Saturday night to kick up your heels!

Amazing Stay
It was indeed amazing! Best vacation by far. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, Kandugyap House by the Sea will give you that tranquility. A very instargam worthy resort. Even their breakfast! And plus points for their service.

Not what I expected. The weather was a factor though. It was too windy and the water condition was rough. I bet the entire stay would have been great if the weather was good. The place is really nice, you'll have a sense of privacy. The staff were great, helpful and accommodating. If you want to be off-the-grid, this is the place to be.

We had a great time at Kandugyap! We initially wanted to book for 2 days but it was already fully booked the next day. Our one day there was well-spent. We love that the location is far from the crowd and we get to spend the whole place almost to ourselves. The place is great for couples and families. Glad that there are also nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when we go back to Bantayan.

Good Place to swim but bad service!!
Well, it was very good to swim both in the sea and pool. There were just 3 rooms so it was very private. I can recommend this hotel if you just wanna enjoy swimming, but if you want a good service, I will not recommend. The staffs were not accommodating and they seemed kind of annoyed whenever we asked them for sth. Plus, the room was quite small, there were no toothbrush and there were a lot of ants, which I hated the most However, I really enjoyed staying there bc I was able to swim and do snorkeling for long and it was totally private

Can't wait to go back!
Great service and off the grid. They helped us rent a scooter and also provided shuttle service to get around to most places (eg. island hopping, cave resort). The staff were friendly and even shopped at the market and cooked us lunch at a minimal cost. The pool was nice and refreshing and lots of seating to hang out. Steps to their small beach and the snorkelling there was nice.

Perfect Staycation
It's my second time in Bantayan Island and Kandugyap House by the Sea is the perfect place to stay. Perfect place for staycation. Room price is affordable and worth it. The owner and staff were accomodating and readily available to our needs. Best part is, free drinking water.

Your Own Little Santorini Hideaway.
It's a very very charming little cliff property tucked away off the beaten path. It is away from the busy side of Sta. Fe. The place was quite perfect for us, since my husband is not into crowds, knowing Bantayan to be a haven for tourists esp in summer. It's a little piece of Santorini in Bantayan. Their beach line is short, but it's very very private. There are only 2 double rooms and 1 villa in this resort, but because it's new, it was very nice and vibrant. When we were there, there were only 5 of us. The staff was very accommodating. The only cons are, other than the breakfast meals and some chips (doritos, ruffles), there was nothing else to eat there, which was a bit of a struggle when we had our baby with us. There was also power outage for a few hours. You can buy food from the local market and ask for the staff to cook them for you at a nominal fee. For a small fee, they can take you to and fro to the center Sta. Fe. The staff are really there for your every beck and call. I hope they will get a standby generator, even if this is only for fans and to charge our devices. We'll be back soon with the rest of our family. Thanks, Kandungyap, for the short but very memorable time!

The room is noted 24 square meters, it's wrong, the room is 12 square meters only the aircon is really noisy, there is no black curtains, so its bright all night due to the light outside.

Jolie piscine à débordement, front de mer sympa, jolie décoration, bon WiFi , personnel disponible, location de scooters, Calme: pas de chants du coq... Bémols: personnel parlant très peu anglais, petits-déjeuners très basiques, plage rocailleuse , peu d'informations (plan, location de canoë, ...), petits travaux en cours : odeur de peinture, bruits de menuiserie, pas de coffre-fort malgré l'annonce. Gros bémol: climatiseur cassette bon marché très bruyant, ce choix est totalement incompréhensible.

地理位置：⭐⭐⭐⭐ 步行約十分鐘可抵達Sta. Fe Cliff Diving Spot(適合網美的拍照景點)，旁邊的Athena餐廳不錯吃，推薦海鮮拼盤、烤炸拼盤、捲餅。 距離熱鬧的市區騎車約10分鐘的距離。 騎車約五分鐘可抵達 Paradise Beach 騎車到大型公共市場30分鐘車程。 客房：⭐⭐⭐ Kandugyap House只有三間客房，我們這次入住三晚的是第二間的雙人房（包含兩份雙人早餐）。客房大概只有四坪左右，客房是標準雙人床，帶小孩要一起睡很艱難，因為房間太小只能添加床墊放在地上（800P/晚含早餐），這個價格真的有點貴。淋浴間使用的是電熱水器蓮蓬頭已經壞掉用膠帶粘貼，熱水很小，水溫很不穩定。 不過如果人數夠多大力推薦他們的三號六人房，一樓有一張加大雙人床，閣樓有兩張標準雙人床。一樓還有廚房可以自己做飯，很舒適方便。 設施：⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 飯店的無敵海景和無邊際泳池真的很棒，很適合拍照。晚上也可以在戶外區域觀星很愜意。 不過本來期待飯店前方海域浮潛會很棒，但海底生態很差。 服務：⭐⭐⭐⭐ 提供免費的來回機場接送 飯店有提供各式的服務但都需要自行告知，包括泳池浴巾和客房清潔，沒有告知他們是不會主動打掃房間更換毛巾。 飯店可以預訂跳島行程、客房按摩、租賃機車、代客料理⋯各式想得到的服務都有（需額外付費）

We stayed in the villa for 7 days and had a fantastic week.What a place!!! Like a privat house. Nice pool, beautiful little beach, sunbeds and seating areas. All though the villa had a kitchen you were not suposed to use it bc not many kitchen equipments.... The staff was always ready to support you in any way and was very helpful. Thank you!

I don’t usually write reviews, nor do I wish to write a negative one, but I feel like I have to warn other people. Me and the gf we’re on vacation and decided to pay a little extra for a nicer place. When we got there, we discovered a run-down little place at the middle of an awful dirt road. I would have no problems with either of that, if the rest wasn’t so bad. The room itself was wall-to-wall with the reception, and it was not sound proofed at all. I had been looking forward to spending some quality time with the gf, but even if they had soundproofed the walls so that everyone else didn’t hear you, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The water pressure is non-existent. The shower was a dribble and the toilet wouldn’t flush. We were given a bucket and told to use that to flush. There were also plenty of ants on the floor inside, and when we told the owners we didn’t wanna stay and that we’d pay for the first night even if we didn’t sleep there, they refused to refund us for the other nights. They wouldn’t even let us take a soft drink from the minibar. We transferred to another nearby resort, Ogdong cave, and had the time of our lives. Stay away from this resort! There are plenty of cheaper or equally priced alternatives on Bantayan that are much better!

We have only few rooms, and you booked for our cheapest room. Your girlfriend said that you dont like the room because it was small, you are just upset because we didnt refund you. I just want to tell you that we have policies and before you booked you should be aware of that. I am sorry for what happened, your complaints were the negative feedback that we have corrected long before you came. There are no ants inside the room and the water pressure is good. Look at our value with guests who booked for Agoda its 8.7 for 258 reviews

Belle maison au calme avec superbe vue
Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans la villa ( il y a aussi 2 chambres plus petites attenantes qui font que l on ne se retrouve quasiment avec personne) la villa est superbe tout à fait fidèle aux photos. Les plus magnifique villa Très belle piscine Superbe vue Très proche de paradise beach Personnel adorable Petite plage privée Les moins Petite salle de bain pour la taille de la maison Petit déjeuner uniquement local L étage de la villa est un peu dangereux pour un enfant en bas âge nous avons descendu un des matelas des lits à l etage pour faire dormir notre fils

Allt bra men var usla att hålla frukosttiderna. Frukost serverades till dörren men vi bokade till 9 men då kom inget man fick gå ut och tjata och sen vänta 15-25min på frukosten. Jobbigt om man ska iväg man har ju endå bestämt en tid dagen innan. Sjuk mysig trädgård och fräsch pool men fin utsikt!

We stayed at the place in November for three nights. The place can be for you exclusively but there are sometimes walk-in guests, who told to know the owner. IIn total 10 walk-in guests who convert the silent place to crowded and loud. Room cleaning was only by request, not as mentioned on the website which is daily. Check-out was handled ok. But with one surprise. The day before, we used the available swim rings, which were also used by the walk-in guests, for around 30 minutes and were charged 200 Pesos. The staff did not mentioned or inform us, that the usage of the swim rings will be charged.

The guests who came in were our family friends, they were originally reserved in the villa but one of their friends booked in another resorts. Yes the swim rings use is for a fee. The staff just forgot to tell you, im sorry. For the clean up issue, they dont clean the rooms without the confirmation of the guests because there are guests who doesnt want daily cleaning or doesnt want to be disturbed. I am sorry for the misunderstanding
