Coral Blue Oriental Beach Villas & Suites is a paradise getaway! We stayed in the Beach Suite with the beach view. It was a one night getaway for Valentine's Day 2024 and a surprise for my significant other and she was thoroughly pleased. The ambiance is very romantic for this particular suite. The staff was very friendly, the accommodation was clean and quiet and the location is walking distance to very good restaurant's, entertainment and 20 yards from the beach. Sitting on the balcony and listing to the waves crash was so relaxing. We enjoyed are stay and highly recommend Coral Blue Oriental Beach Villas & Suites. We will absolutely stay again!

The villa that we stayed in is quite and very spacious. Also, the bathroom is clean and big as well. In addition , the staffs are friendly and joyful. I would recommend this resort for families who want to relax and spend quality time together. Thank you for making our anniversary very memorable.

The location was amazing. Right on the beach and minutes away from MJ Market ( food stalls/ restaurants/ bars). The room is as advertised, however some parts are outdated, such as the bathroom. Cleanliness was a 3/5, we had room service daily , although there were a lot of ants during our stay so we left with ant bites at the end. The main reason for the poor rating is due to the staff. The service felt very impersonal. Out of all staff members we’ve only encountered 1 lady who was genuine ,but the rest seemed robotic, we felt like we weren’t welcomed. After our stay, nobody acknowledged us, other than “thanks for bringing the keys back”. We asked a couple of staff of any recommendations for places to eat and they said nothing? We thought it was the language barrier but they spoke well English.. Considering the price, this place was not worth it. Wouldn’t comeback.

POSITIVE: Friendly and polite staff. Watching sunrise in the balcony. NEGATIVE: Bathroom needed to upgrade, closet is dusty and dirty. All bills should be computerized and not hand-written on a notebooks to avoid over/under charges.

Wonderful place to get away from it all. Bungalows made very comfortable right on the beach with an absolutely fabulous swimming beach nearby. The food here is good with lots of choices, but the service is rather slow. That was alright with us though because we were in no hurry, just crashing from the world outside. If you want to do things in tie , it is within just 5 minutes of the hotel with lots of restaurants and the convinces needs, but still very quaint.

This is a taste of Paradise. The staff were amazing, the food was amazing, our room was amazing. We will come back here for sure one day. Don't be put off by the amount of travel you have to go through to get here. It's a long bus ride and a ferry trip from Mactan/Cebu, but if you're looking for a laid back, slow paced place to recharge, this is it. If you're looking for high energy party vibes, go elsewhere.

We had 2 bed villa but only 2 of us. Spacious. Very helpful staff, airport pickup, island hopping and motorcycle hire all arranged well. Free breakfast good and well presented. Cons: beach dirty, noisy window AC, no hot water in sink, very bad water pressure, slow WiFi. Our unit was the highest and may have caused the low water pressure. Beach gets better further from the port and best for swimming near the sandbar 10 Min walk.

An intimate resort with nice decoration and exelent staff who give great service. the rooms are big and right on the beach. The food is exelent as well. I recommend this resort especially for couples who like to stay out fron the crude but still can involve in the crude whithin seconds from the resort.

In general a very good resort, also the service. The choices on the menu of the restaurant are rather limited, but other restaurants are nearby, so it was not a real disadvantage. Maintenance at the outside of the room (knocking) on the last day was disturbing.

Enjoyed our stay In this lovely intimate resort. The spacious Ocean View Villa was fantastic and exceeded our expectations Loved waking up to a sunrise view. The staff was attentive and accommodating. If I were to visit Bantayan again, I would love to stay in this resort.

Really cool cottage on beach. Walk to water from your door. Big room, friendly staff. Would have rated higher but beach was tiny. Hot water wasn't the best. However you are near many placed to eat and other beaches. Check out otgong cave.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming - possibly too much so - we liked the visiting cats and dogs but had to draw the line at the mouse in the room. Good food, close to shops and restaurants and next to the sea - although the beach up the coast is better.

Stayed for 2 nights in the 2-bedroom villa with friends in this beachfront property. Hotel room theme of native bamboo looks good. But the room lacks basic things like enough space for guests' things as make- up and personal care items. Toilet and bath do not have towel racks and soap holder. Water pressure is weak, no hot water, and bathroom is dark. Lots of hotel staff but not very helpful.

Pleasant Huts and Great View
This is a small hotel composed of seven bamboo huts. It's a very short walk from Santa Fe town, and therefore in a convenient location. If you have an upper unit, you will enjoy a lovely view of the ocean. However, if you are looking for a hotel on a nice beach for swimming, try just around the other side of the island near Kota Beach, as the spot in front of the Coral Blue does not have the best beach. The hotel does provide a well kept sandy area with tables and chairs and several sun loungers, which is a pretty area to relax with the sea as a backdrop. The huts are made from bamboo, very spacious, and have ample storage. Our unit had a very large deck, which we enjoyed. During our time on Bantayan, we also stayed at Anika Island Resort. We preferred the Coral Blue to Anika because of room size and design. Overall, it was a nice stay at Coral Blue, but for those who are heading to Bantayan for the first time, be aware that service standards on the island are generally not the highest. Hence, Coral Blue is a bit rough around the edges, but still very pleasant.

A truly unforgettable place
A beautiful place situated directly on the white sands of Bantayan Island, We opted for a beach front view which didn’t disappoint. The morning sunrise & sunsets where spectacular. The room was spacious, clean and authentic with great A/C. The staff are warm & friendly and went out there way to give us the full Filipino experience from tasting local seafood to organizing day trips & bike rental. We travelled the whole island and both agreed that the resort was the by far the best. We ate daily at the hotel and were never disappointed. Great portion size, delicious fresh ingredients and cheap cost. If you want to explore or simply to relax and forget the modern world this is a great, unforgettable place.

Amazing, peaceful place to relax & enjoy Bantayan
Beautiful place to relax! Common areas and room were all clean, new and beautiful. Within walking distance of town. Did not eat dinner here but drinks and breakfast were very good. White sand beach right in front (depending on tide) and you can walk/wade quite a ways in either direction. Only minor complaint is that A/C in room needs maintenance - air coming out was not cool.

They were strict about the maximum persons allowed in the room and it is understandable as they worry about the bamboo hut structure. Very friendly staff allowed us 5 to stay and the place was really large enough and comfortable enough for us all. We had to move to another resort nearby called Amihan - big mistake, that was the worse resort experience we had (aircon not working, rooms are dirty and the unfriendliest staff you can find). Anyway, we would have stayed longer at Coral Blue but they were fully booked. The have a large veranda fronting the beach with hammock and a dining table, I will stay here again next time I come to Bantayan (not Amihan Beach Cabanas- never!)

Way toooo expensive. The actual resort had stray cats and dogs. We were eating breakfast and had cats begging for food. Also a cat pooped on the sand where my boy was making a sand castle the day before. Really disgusting... I had a standard room for my sister in law and it had the most APPALING mould smell. It was dark and had no ventilation except the door. I had suite room for myself and the same issue BAD mouldy smell. It was almost inhabitable, so unhealthy. If we stayed any longer we would have had an asthma attack. The manager had very poor customer service. When we asked for a different room for the standard we had to fork out the full amount to upgrade... Terrible experience....

Laid-back accommodation manned by nicest people
We we're greeted warmly by the staff. They gave us a welcome shell necklace and iced tea. The place if beach front though elevated. Their restaurant is the best! Grilled snapper is two-thumbs-up! They have room service massage.This is not a hotel so please manage your expectations when it comes to facilities, etc. but overall, the experience was awesome!
