The employees were very friendly. The location of the hotel is great, less than a 5 min walk to the a Sant Marta Marina. I felt pretty safe, as a solo female traveler. I plan to come back!

My husband And I really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Santa Marta everything is walking distance away supermarket only a block away the hotel was clean everything was enjoyable!

The pool and gym are very small. Also, although the room was spacious with a small fridge, the mattress on the bed, which provided little pressure relief, was just ok, and the fixed shower head, definitely not for tall people, were things that I personally did not care for. On the other hand, the food at the property was fresh, tasty and nutritious in my opinion. However, the people are thing best thing about this hotel. The reception team, cleaning staff, restaurant staff and security were all helpful, professional and kind.

The Air conditioner in the room doesn’t work. We requested to change the room and they did with a better view. The Air Conditioning is set by the management and doesn’t go beyond 21 even you want it lower. Other than that everything else is fine.

The breakfast is the best part of this hotel. For $10 a person you can't beat it! The staff are pretty nice, especially compared to other people in this area. The general attitude in this area is really grouchy, which is quite the difference from coming from Medellin. The room had a folded blanket on the bed with other people's hair in it, which was alarming and disgusting, and the bathroom floor the same (other people's hair on the floor and stuck to various parts of the bathroom). For some reason we were not given any washcloths, only one hand towel, and half a roll of toilet paper with no back up roll. The gym is pretty sparse. There are free weights, a bench, and two treadmills. There are two flat yoga balls and a water dispenser but no cups, so you have to bring your own bottles or cups. The pool has a nice view but it is extremely tiny, and is for merely getting wet, there's no way you could swim laps at all. Parking is good, we drove motorcycles, and we liked taking the lift up to the garage. Security was very attentive and helpful, very pleasant people. Their convenience store in the lobby is very sparse but they do have some drinks and ice cream. We were happy to go to Santa Marta once, but probably will never return. The wind at night is absolutely crazy, it feels like a hurricane is about to happen or happening. No exaggeration there. This hotel isn't a bad place to stay for two nights, which is what we did, but would not recommend staying longer.

Worst hilton I have stayed.
When we came they gave us a non ocean view room and said that's the ocean view. The second day they shifted me to a different floor, and the AC water started leaking. The false ceiling came down and the entire floor was wet. The staff is not courteous, they are straight rude. Most of the staff doesn't understand English. Overal experience was terrible, one of the worst hilton I have ever been on.

Comfortable hotel. The bedding had a few stains on it but nothing major. The staff were mostly helpful. They do happy hour 2-for-1 cocktails between 6pm and 8pm. One day, the bartender disappeared at around 7:40pm and then came back after 8pm. So, we were not able to get any drinks then. After he came back, we explained the situation and he gladly have us the cocktails at half price! One night, we ordered room service. We asked for a food item without cheese but it came with cheese. They took the food back and brought another one back without cheese in around 10 minutes without any problems. We ordered in English so there's nobody to blame there, it was just a minor miscommunication that got resolved smoothly. The staff were also helpful about calling taxis and advising us on our trip to Parque Tayrona. It was also very nice to know that we would be coming back to our clean and cool hotel room after our humid and hot trip to Parque Tayrona. The breakfast does not have many vegan options unfortunately. Oat milk could be a simple addition to the breakfast that would expand the option for vegans. Otherwise, the breakfast was quite good and tasty. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay began with us arriving to a filthy room with a strong wet musty odor. There was hair on the floor, toilet wet and with hair and the bed had what appeared to be black footprints. We called the front desk and there was no answer. We called guest services and they sent housekeeping. She looked at the room and said to change our room. We went back to the front desk and they said they could downgrade our room with no price change, a smaller bed and no view or they could clean it. We waited over an hour in the lobby for our room to be cleaned. We had 2 rooms at this location. In BOTH rooms we received DIRTY STAINED towels. In our second room we called multiple times about the air conditioning - one of our guests has asthma and when the front desk didn't pick up we had to walk downstairs each time - they were informed of our issues and medical concerns. They sent someone to open the ceiling and clean the filters. We asked for our room to change and they refused, insisting we were not using the air conditioning correctly even though it went as high as 77 degrees. We booked through Expedia and they called the location multiple times on our behalf. On the final day Expedia said the hotel's manage Jose would be coming upstairs to address the situation. We waited over an hour before they told us he was too busy. Customer service and lack of cleanliness was the most horrific I have ever experienced at a hotel. We have picture proof see Google Review.

When we book this hotel, breakfast was included when we show up at the hotel, they want me to pay for breakfast. No water available for coffee maker we need to pay for water. Front reception they have attitude to us because I ask to call whit manager, for my concerns, they hang up the phone for me, I need to walk to front desk to ask for manager and always they told me he was doing something

Good location, but the rooms where not ready on a timely fashion. I know check is @ 3 pm. But the rooms where deliver 3 minutes before 3 pm. Mind you we got there @ 9am. People that got there way after ,me got rooms before me. I never got the call from the front desk to informed me about the room.

Although the customer service at the hotel was good, the facility and its surroundings are not up to western standards. The food on site is limited and substandard as well. nice modern hotel with all the amenities you would need. It's in a quiet part of the historic part without being in the middle of the noisy club area near the park. The price is also reasonable for that area.

Chef Delvin is fantastic, very interested in pleasing the guest. Provided us with excellent and exceptional service. So did Maite, our food server. Jose tge front desk clerk was so polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel as a vacation destination.
