Old and in need of renovations
Atlantico Hotel is located across the street from the beach in Santos. This hotel is old and in need of repairs. It could be renovated to look like a grand old hotel, but it's current condition is falling apart. Our room was clean, but again old. It was an acceptable place to spend the night. A free breakfast buffet was offered, and valet parking for a fee.

Perfect!
We’d been staying in the Ibis which wasn’t good. Moved here and it’s great. Ok, from the outside it does need a coat of paint, as does some of the inside but our room was excellent, clean and well serviced. English is spoken in reception and nothings too much trouble. Breakfast is good and plentiful. All in all, wish we’d have stayed here for our whole stay.

i really liked my stay here i only stayed for one night but if i go back to visit santos this is where im staying, i loved the location and the place is really classic it looks like you travel back in time , just be prepared no hot water

A tad dissapointed
Hotel in a great location opposite the beach. Its an old style hotel which is great and they have kept it that way without modernising with room keycards and other moden trimmings. This was at first quaint and refreshing. The adjoining rooms we had as a family overlooked the beach and were very spacious with 3 singles in one room and a 3/4 and single in the other. The beds are however tiny. Enough space for the family and more. Thats where the joy ended. The bathroom in 204 was filthy. Bathmats were grey from age and overuse. Towels were clean and wrapped in plastic. The shower had different tiles on the walls as broken tiles were replaced (not serious) however the mould in the shower was terrible. So much so that it looked unsightly and very unhygienic. Showerhead broken along with a damaged cold water tap. We were unfortunate to have the previous guests soap in the very soap caked soap holder. No coffee station and only two bottles of water in the fridge. On the updside, we ate our evening meals on the lovely patio outside on the roadside with a view of the beach.The meals we had were splendid. The portions are huge and meat well prepared. The lasagna was delicious and was enough the feed three people easily. The fillet magnon was cooked perfectly and could feed two people. 10/10 for the chef. A coat of paint throughout the hotel could transform it. The bathroom in our room would take a bit more work. With effort and a springclean, this could be a great hotel.

Review of Atlântico Hotel - Santos / Brazil
Not what I expected. Rooms need to be upgraded. Furniture, air conditioning and TV leave a lot to be desired. Missing glass on windows. Walls show dirt, very noticeable in the bathroom. Staff, with some exceptions, not very nice. Breakfast not good when compared to other (same level) hotels in the area. Location is nice, but I will stay somewhere else next time.

Good location near beach and shops
The hotel is getting old. The room was noisy due to outside street noise. The room is getting old and needs some maintenance but I was happy with the location. The breakfast included was great, no problems with the food.

The first room was not very clean, a dead bug was on the beddings. So I requested to change the bedding or room, luckily the second room was okay. The facilities in the room and bathroom were generally old, I think they need to be well kept and maintained. The front desk staffs are lacking of communicating in English. But several staffs were kind, not all. Free breakfast buffet was good. Overpriced a bit in my opinion. The hotel location is good near seashore and shopping center.

Ville Atlântico Hotel
Came to Santos on a solo vacation. Hotel is in serious need of upgrading. The WiFi service is spotty in areas. The service was excellent. A very knowledgable and friendly staff. The location is second to none in Santos. A special thanks to Iury (an excellent english speaker) who provided exceptional service during my stay.

Quarto com a cabeceira cheia de cupim , televisão não funciona , chuveiro não funciona direito , parece uma cascata , vazamento do box para o banheiro e estrutura muito antiga e sem muito cuidados . Atendimento bem mediano . A vantagem q é bem de frente da praia do Gonzaga .

Nunca mais. Péssimo local.
Ao chegar no hotel os recepcionistas foram atenciosos porem as fotos contidas no anuncio nao fazem juz ao quarto real. O Ar condicionado não era split. O banheiro terrivel as toalhas sao finas. O quarto esta sujo com areia embaixo da cama. Havia barata pelo corredor, o cafe da manhã e péssimo. O recepcionia noturno que estava na noite de 04 para 05 de fevereiro me insultou, criou caso, foi rude, agressivo de uma pessima educação. Nunca mais pisarei e não recomendo ninguém a se hospedar eli.

A localização do hotel é incrível, prédio histórico , café da manhã honesto e atendimento impecável, Porém o prédio precisa ser modernizado em sua parte interna: tomadas antigas, janelas antigas, sendo um hotel praiano, se faz necessário pelo menos um varal para estender as roupas de banho.

A estadia foi boa,os atendentes da recepção foram bem educados e prestativos;o quarto bem espaçoso e sempre limpo; O café da manhã deixou um pouco a desejar,todos os dias o mesmo cardápio,o espaço muito pequeno e muito abafado.Funcionários no café prestativos com exceção de um rapaz sempre de cara fechada e quando iamos pedir algo ele era sempre muito mal educado!

*A Localização é muito boa, fica no centro e em frente a praia da pra fazer tudo andando. *O Estacionamento não fica no hotel e é pago separado R$25 o dia, mas eles levam o carro e trazem quando necessário. *Fui em época de natal então a sala do café da manhã ficou bem cheia, fomos para outra sala para sentar e tomar o café da manhã, porém tem um cheiro muito forte de mofo achei ruim pois era um ambiente para nos alimentar. *Os funcionários são atenciosos e prestativos.

Infelizmente a experiência não foi tão prazerosa, na noite em que chegamos nos deparados com um quarto cheio de cupim, cupim no chão e em cima das camas. Na hora de fazer o check-out, o hotel ou o manobrista/estacionamento, deixou o vidro do carro abaixado e consequentemente por conta da chuva, molhou todo o carro dentro. O Hotel se responsabilizou mas infelizmente isso interferiu bem na minha avaliação ao hotel

Um final de semana.
Um hotel tradicional, frequento desde a infância com a família, atualmente em todos os aspectos não causa a mesma impressão, contudo, continua sendo o Hotel Atlântico, um item bastante tradicional é o café da manhã completo. Continua sendo recomendado.
