"Amazing traditional Japanese style room. Dated but very clean and comfortable with ski run views! The Onsen was great after a day skiing. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and included in the price ….. not fine dining but wholesome and something for everyone. Would definitely recommend. "

The building is stocked with exactly what you need for skiing including a dry room, the guest rooms are big with comfortable big beds, and breakfast is ample/healthy to start the day. We’ve been to the Myoko area before and will 100% return back to Elan for our next trip. "

"Room was very clean, staff were very courteous and helpful. Onsen facility was very good. Dining options were limited. The cafe, food court, bakery were closed after 4pm, so dinner choices were limited to the expensive restaurants, unless you have transport and willing to travel to Myoko town."

"Fujisan was great. Our car couldn’t make it to the inn. Fuji came down the hill in a snowstorm to pick us up, he called ahead to make sure the local restaurant stayed open for us as well. Breakfasts were excellent, the rooms were large by ryokan standards and very clean. The Hanabun is a vintage gem tucked deep in the Myoko Mountains. "
