"My stay at the Pestana CR7 Funchal was truly unforgettable. ❤️🇵🇹 From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed. The entire staff was incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The team welcoming guests at the entrance especially made such a wonderful impression — their warmth and hospitality made me feel at home from the very beginning. The food was delicious, the hotel was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect. Being surrounded by so much of Cristiano Ronaldo’s history made the experience even more special for me, but what I will remember most is how wonderful the people were. I came to Madeira excited to experience a place connected to Cristiano Ronaldo, but I left completely in love with Funchal, Madeira, its people, and its hospitality. Thank you to the entire Pestana CR7 team for making my stay so special. I leave happy, grateful, and with beautiful memories that I will always treasure. I truly hope this wasn’t goodbye, but “see you again soon.” 🇵🇹✨ I can’t wait to come back!"

"Overall, we liked it. The pool areas, swimming in the ocean, food and drinks were great. Same for the staff, always friendly and helpful. Royal Savoy is marketed as a 5 star hotel. It probably is more like a 4 star though how do they compare to other 5 star offerings inMadeira? It is getting close to needing a facelift. We had a junior suite. Largest patio I have ever had. It had a small kitchen area but no coffee maker or stuffed fridge. You have to look for power outlets as there are none around the bed or desk, wifi bumpy now and then but you're not staying there to be online...rather to be offline and enjoy what Madeira has to offer. Location is great. We walked every day to the city center some 15 minutes or so away. You don't need an Uber or Taxi unless you have limited ability to walk a bit. Lots of tourist choices and Madeira is a very beautiful island. You will not forget your trip!"

"Good basic 4 star hotel, as a base with a pool and breakfast it was fine for us. As long as a little tired decor doesn’t trigger you you’ll be great. Location is fantastic with a small park next door, shopping centre 5mins walk away and dozens of bars and restaurants nearby."

"The venue was good, but could have used better daily cleaning, more ease of finding parking, and an actual beach view that wasn't obstructed by a tree. The noise level at night was also difficult at times when trying to sleep (due to other guests, not just street driving). The location was fabulous with many nearby options of food and attractions, making it easy to get around."
