"Taka San was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was super traditional and very spacious and there was a lot of space in the house for group dining a nice garage space to hang out as well. The guesthouse is in a very beautiful and scenic area. I would highly recommend Taka San and his guesthouse to anybody looking to visit the area."

"This hotel is amazing. Beautiful rooms with a fabulous view of Yoro and the valley. The food is some of the best I have had in Japan. The service also incredible. A five minute walk to gorgeous waterfalls and forest temple. And right on the trail to the Mt. Yoro hike. Spectacular. We cannot wait to come back. "

"The Quintessa is an older hotel but comfortable with good value. My queen double was spacious and had a great view from the large windows. Breakfast is above average with a focus of Japanese dishes. The hotel is a great departure point to explore the canals around the City Hall and Ogaki Castle. There are 29 natrual springs in Ogaki, 3 are located in front of the station. Nobody drinks from them--but they were the highlight of my trip. The water is cold and sweet! I filled up my water bottle...

"Consistent with what I’ve come to expect from this reliable chain. A simple Japanese business hotel — compact rooms, clean, and efficiently run with friendly service. Laundry facilities were handy and worked well. The town itself is small and quiet, but I had no trouble finding a decent place for dinner on a Sunday night just a short walk away. Breakfast was limited but perfectly fine for what it is. A solid, dependable stay."
