Check before you check in.
Firstly I stayed there before with another friend and saw the rooms and this was the reason I booked there.
Secondly I booked a room and it displayed a bathtub and in the conditions it said that the room I booked would have a bathtub. And that is why I continued to book for 3 days. I was expecting the same or similar to the room my friend had booked.
When I check in they first give me a room with no bathtub. I go to reception then after asking for a room with a bathtub. They give me one.
This room is nothing like the room my friend had booked. The bathtub is basically a foot spa very small compared to the tub m friend had.
I then phone the hotels.com gold team and they try and fix the issue. To which the staff blatantly lie and tell them that they only have one size bath tub. I was staying at 502 and my friends room that we booked was at 503 and the difference is huge. I was prepared to pay extra to get this room. But because the staff was not budging or being nice about it. I wanted a refund and just stay at another place with better facilities and a cheaper price.
However the room was non refundable. The gold member staff Angel was true their name and made matters better. Thank you to the gold member staff for all the help.
PRO TIP: let the hotel.com staff sort out any issues you have with the properties. It works better.
Over all I would stay there again if they give me the room they show in the pictures. Check your room when you check in.
