"Nice, affordable place to stay. Very simple, but perfect for what we needed. Our room looked like they have started upgrading some of the furniture. Breakfast consists of toast, bagels, yogurt and coffee, which was perfect for our family, as we are not heavy eaters in the morning. Will be back next year."

"I enjoyed the beautiful view of Gull lake from my balcony! Bed was comfortable, washroom was a little small but very clean. Quiet for the most part, until people above me started walking around and then you could here them. That's the only downfall. No restaurant on site. But many within a couple minutes drive. I would highly recommend this great hidden gem to anyone going to the Muskoka area. "

"The rooms were equipped with a small kitchen which had everything you would ever need. The rooms were nicely sized and the beds were so comfortable! The hotel is unique and gives you that feeling as soon as you walk through the lobby "

"We really enjoyed our stay! Centrally located and right off the main drag. Check-in was a little slow due to some technical difficulties, but the attendant was very apologetic. The parking lot was full so we had to park in the overflow, which was ok considering it was a 2 min walk from the hotel. Room was clean and perfect for our pup. Thank you Champlain Hotel!"

"The short hiking trail steps away from the front door to a Pavillion with a beautiful view of Muskoka Lake and the boardwalk also steps away leading to the Bayfront and all the shops and restaurants. "
