"Nice light and airy room, location perfect, staff very pleasant, hairdryer didnโ€™t work so they replaced immediately. Someone had their tv on all night next door which wasnโ€™t the hotelโ€™s fault obviously, but slightly annoying, could hear through wall. Breakfast was pleasant but very limited without paying extra. Overall, the hotel was great for our one night stay in central Canterbury."

The Falstaff Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern."
