Rooms plenty big enough, clean, if a little dated but that is minor point only, food in the evening was good and reasonably priced, breakfast was also good. Would give this another look and stay again if on business in that area."

"Parking was wonderful but breakfast changed from 09.00 to 11.00 must be reversed back to 09.00. A lot of people are not happy with this changes. Nobody wants to be hanging about due to work starting 09.00 away from the the hotel. 11.00 does not make any sense. I love this Royal Alfred and it's the best in the area. Thank you Emilia."

There was a piece of rubbish under the chair in our room and a sticky coffee cup mark on the unit by the bed and we had to get out key card reset twice as it stopped working. These things wouldn’t put us off from staying there again as the overall experience was ok. "
