"The hotel was a lovely place to stay for our short trip to the Izu Penninsula, it was a good base for us to explore the area although there are very limited restaurants or places of interest in the immediate vicinity apart from the beach. "Phenomenal, phenomenal! This was extremely comfortable, wonderful staff, lovely room with a great view of the bay. We saw the fireworks for the Black Ship Festival. The balcony onsen was extremely private and comfortable. Would highly recommend that this be your number one choice of hotel if you are in Shimoda."
