The property was beautiful. Lovely salt water pool and 3 balconies of lush plant life. The room had a hot shower and comfortable bed with plenty of room for our "stuff"! The staff was exemplary! There was a breakfast buffet with a nice variety of offerings. We had dinner and drinks there as well, all delicious.

All the Pandora Suite D’Angkor rooms are large as it was previously called Grand Élysée La Residence. The couple of things I liked was you could access all meals and drinks at this location or you could buy inexpensive meals for 150 to 300 riel two blocks down the street towards Angkor Wat at the Chef Pan Restaurant if on a budget. The location and suite price was good as you are as close as you can get to the Angkor Wat Archaelogical Park main entrance and accessible by downloading the grab app or pass application for a tuk tuk or remork. Note that you have to buy or go online to purchase admission tickets which you cannot get at the main entrance of Angkor Wat. I did not like that you have to access the Pandora Suite via a dirt road in but they had a 200’ paved stone sidewalk to get to check in desk. The other thing I did not like was they advertised a suite with a pool view but you have to open you suite door to actually get your pool view from your reserved outside deck sitting area usually with a table and two chairs on the upper floors. I did like having a small safe, fridge and kettle in the suite. Missed having no microwave. Housekeeping came every day to provide two glass bottles of water, coffee, tea, razor, toothbrush, comb, shampoo, conditioner and body bath foam and more. I enjoyed my short visit here and would stay here again versus going to the more upscale Park Hyatt, Sofitel and Raffles resorts further away towards Siem Reap.

This was our best Hotel on our SEA trip so far. Melinda at the front desk was great. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights. I want to thank the whole staff for a wonderful experience.

Photos and realty didn't match. This hotel to me was more like a 2 star hotel. Very expensive room rate ,value for money was negative (not even zero). No AC in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was very basic.

Property had been closed due to Covid-19. It seems well maintain since the reopen. Business seems to be getting picking up. Staff friendly and helpful. Elevator has been turn off due to not enough number of rooms booked. However, only the first and second floor is currently being used.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Grand Elysee. Staff was the best part. They’re so genuinely gracious, friendly, and welcoming. Say hello to Jessie and Phillip while there. This place is the absolute best while in Siem Reap.

My stay was terrific! The staff were helpful, friendly and always available. The pool is great, the food and drinks too. Many things are within walking distance and Pub Street and the main core of Siem Reap are only a few minutes away by Tuk Tuk. I look forward to staying here again.

The staff is superb. Kim was so hospitable and helped me with some logistical issues I was having. Nunu and Albert were also fantastic. I do a lot of traveling and I'm always very happy when I experience this level of service. Well done Grand Elysee staff!

Nice clean hotel and service staffs are very friendly. Toothbrush and other toiletries were not refilled after room was made up. Bed sheets were not changed. There is no bottle water too, instead all rooms were given 2 bottles of refilled water.

The staff are what make this hotel , It is a nice clean reasonably well presented hotel , but the level of service is exceptional . We particularly appreciated the free airport transfer . Another big plus was that due to flight difficulties we needed to check in 5 hours before the regular check in time , This it turned out was not a problem , Mia at the front desk sorted everything and we had our room, by ( A .. M ) which was amazing as we should have checked in at 2 P .M . We were also provided with a tuk tuk driver to serve as a guide and transport to Angkor Wat and the other temples , His name was Bunly , and he was fantastic . Very knowledgeable , and explained everything to us , .. polite and knew all the best photo opportunities . we would highly recommend .

The staff were excellent. They made us very welcome, greeted us by name and were ready to offer help when needed. They organised tuk-tuk drivers and guides for our trips to the temple and more. They really made the stay outstanding. The hotel is a bit out of the center of town but it doesn't matter as tuk-tuks are cheap!

This hotel was lovely! The dbl bed room was nice and spacious with a great balcony! The breakfast was good- omelet/noodles station, fresh fruit, local dishes etc. oh and an espresso machine which was nice! The staff here were wonderful!! Always willing to help and always so pleasant! We got to talk and laugh with Jessie and Thomas (Sim & Ny) they were great and extremely helpful with giving us info when we needed! It’s in quieter part of Siem Reap but definitely not too far from night market/pub street etc. just a $1 tuk tuk. & the pool area is perfect for a little r&r after walking everywhere! Definitely a good find in Siem Reap!

Best Gem In Siem Reap
The staff is simply magnificent. They do amazing little things to make the stay memorable, comfortable, and so enjoyable. The walls of the bathrooms are like Venetian Plaster. Great view from terrace. Best coffee at breakfast! Wonderful Happy Hour, if that is important to anyone. They give everyone a wonderful towel after a trip out. It is cool and fragrant. Just a piece of heaven!! Some great restaurants just down the street. Granted the street view is not the attractive aspect but is a slice of Cambodia reality. Joey is the best! She is amazing!

We have stayed at 8 motels in the last 4 weeks and this was by far our favourite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was exceptional the food was excellent. Can not recommend the property highly enough

Nice hotel but watch out for huge Marketing push
The staff were welcoming and let us check-in early. Our room was large and comfortable for 3 people. The location was also convenient. The staff helped us organize our ride around Angkor Watt and provided advice for our visit. A mirror broke in the bathroom that was no fault of ours and they were gracious to overlook the incident even though the lady who appeared to be the Manager questioned us. We had problems with the air-conditioner the first night but they fixed it the second night. The only downside was the huge marketing push by the assumed Manager and our driver to spend more money at the hotel (e.g., eat at the hotel restaurant, get a massage, join a tour, do more sightseeing, etc.). The driver (whom we were told is an employee of the hotel) went so far as to drive us to a restaurant and forced us to eat lunch there. That was the most unpleasant part of our entire visit. Unfortunately, the underlined intention of the hotel to make more money from us overshadowed their friendliness. I have been to Siem Reap before and I know what I want. We felt that they were not acting in our best interest.

Very nice and affordable
The hotel is very nice and the breakfast improved every day. The restaurant had some good choices so when tired we ate at the hotel. i did not use the swimming pool or the spa, it looks very nice.

Family oriented and very friendly. From and to the airport made our holidays very enjoyable. From the airport Jessie pick up us and it was very welcoming. All the staff brilliant especially Jessie and Sokhey in the bar restaurant. Evening food was brilliant specially the Green mango salad. I forget to ask the chef recipe. Our room was huge with bath tub and rain shower. About breakfast it was good however the food was running out all the time. Got to mention the young girl on the egg station, she was brilliant cook and a very smiling face in the morning. Highlight of our trip was to vist Angkor Wat. Jessie arranged for me a Tuk Tuk and which was best advise. Recommend to anyone. Will go there again.

Everything you could want or need
Well thought out hotel, fantastic size room (club) with huge bath plus rainforest shower, big enough bed to fit an entire family (not recommended) and efficient air con. Staff are marvellous, each and every one and unlike corporate chains, the hotel has a very personal feel with staff remembering your name from day 1, very helpful arranging horseriding or, I would guess, anything else you fancy. Good location within walk of markets and some decent eateries, though the food at hotel was good. I had a couple of massages which were excellent. Can’t fault this hotel at all - why would you stay anywhere else?

I loved my stay at this hotel. My room was fantastic and I loved the rainfall shower. Easy to walk into town or get a tuk tuk waiting across the road. The highlight for me was the staff. Very friendly and polite and called me by name everytime. All the reception staff were helpful and Jessica always made time to give me help and advice so I made the most of my stay. I will come back next year and stay longer so I can see more of the area around Siem Reap. Thank you to all the staff.

Outstanding stay
Throughly enjoyable stay. the room was huge and very quiet. Loved the location being away from the hostel and bustle of the main tourist area yet close even that it was a short tuk tuk ride to the centre of the city. The biggest plus was the outstanding service given by the staff, nothing was too much trouble for them and they even took the trouble to remember your name, which made it a pleasure to stop and chat with them each day.
