Staff was friendly and great location to pub street and lots of restaurants. The only con (which was no fault of the hotel) tv was not working due to construction nearby, but the staff was able to provide android tv box to use. The wifi was not great and wifi may not be important for other travelers, but we needed it to do work and we believe because tv was not working, maybe everyone was streaming and created wifi issues so this could be a one off situation. Overall great hotel and hospitality.

Great stay, central comfortable and amazing pool
Loved our stay here. Booked for four nights but ended up staying five. The hotel was really quiet despite its central location. We were there over new year and two huge stages were built in Pub Street and we were worried noise would keep us awake; it didn’t. The rental bikes were the best we saw. Comfortable with gears and big wheels. The room was comfortable and large. And the pool was famtastic to return after a day of sightseeing. I would happily recommend.

Room smelt of mold. Mold on bedsheets when i arrived. Visible stains on towels and sheets. Tv not connected. shower head broken shooting most water sideways. ‘Bottled’ water is reusable glass type. Stains on lampshades. Restaurant good. Staff nice.

A Little Slice of Paradise
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the chance to review this hotel, though honestly I am not sure where to begin to describe how lovely my experience was. As for the basics, my room was beautifully designed, modern, spotless, everything worked, and the plumbing was great (something I’ve learned is a little hit and miss in many SE Asian properties). The location is perfect, far enough from the busy tourist nightspots to be quiet but still only a short walk to the action. Nice restaurant, beautiful pool. Perhaps the most memorable part of my stay was the staff. What a lovely team of kind, welcoming young men and women. Really can’t recommend this hotel more highly. Bravo :)

What an incredible experience in an absolutely amazing hotel, with the kindest people you can meet in South East Asia! Moon Residence and Spa is the best solution for your stay in Siem Reap. Very fast to communicate before we arrived and answered all my questions. They assisted us with booking a tour to Angkor and the driver and the guide were the absolute best!! Highly recommend Mr Mau for Angkor tour in a tuk tuk and he also took us to the floating village. The hotel has very spacious rooms in a tru Khmer style. Cool, great amenities, very clean. The shampoo smelled soooo nice !! Everyone was very helpful, smiling , kind, respectful. People make this place spectacular. on our first day, we were very impressed that the hotel helped us get a to go breakfast very delicious, as we left very early to see the sunrise at the temples. The location is also the best! Just minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. We got so used to being there, that we didn’t want to leave. Kids loved this hotel so much!!! The pool and courtyard are just beautiful. The front office manager was extremely helpful and so kind!! Wish we can come back and spend more time. Would definitely book again. I can’t use enough words in this review to recommend enough this place and especially the staff. I will always cherish the memories. Thank you!!!!

During our trip we have a stayed at one or two 5 star hotel but the customer service at this hotel is second to none ! What a lovely hotel , all amenities available in a tranquil setting . It is also well located being a short stroll to the market and center of town . Well recommended

Beautiful oasis close to the centre of Siem Reap. Rooms are outstanding. Check in was friendly and the towel and ginger drink upon arrival was a great touch. The room was large spacious and clean. Swimming pool is relaxing. Dinner was delicious and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend Tuk tuk tour driver was fantastic.

Wonderful surprise! "The hotel is a short walk from downtown services and shops. The hotel has its own restaurant by the pool where you can drink and eat. The price level of the restaurant is reasonable and the breakfast is tasty. Landmark king room is very spacious and tidy. The room and hotel were really peaceful and we were really able to relax there. Wifi was fast an reliable. Staff very helpful "

Always My Preferred Place To Stay in Siem Reap I loved everything here .I travel many countries and this hotel is the best place that I really enjoyed .This is my third times staying at the Moon Residence in Siem Reap service is as always helpful staffs, reasonable place and location where I can easily access to the Pub Street by walking. Place is clean, cozy and green.Angkor day tour, car or tuk tuk, is available at optimal price. If I will be in Siem Reap again, this hotel will be my choice.

Best hotel in Siem Reap "We originally had come to stay for just a couple nights but ended up extending our stay longer . We seriously did not want to leave this place. The room we got was designed beautifully with dark wood and white walls, a luxury soaker tub and private pool view balcony. The other wow factor is the pool. We went in every single day and missed it dearly after we left. With flowers and plants all around it and the waterfall in the background, It was beyond…

A beautiful paradise in the middle of the city! We absolutely loved our stay! While the beds were a bit firm for us, that is a matter of preference, and we all slept well. You absolutely MUST experience this property!

This is an unusual time to be in Siem Reap with the closing of hotels, restaurants, etc., and an unprecedented drop of 95%+ of tourism. On the onehand, selfishly, it was nice to have the temples and normally hectic streets to myself, on the other hand it was heartbreaking watching this city close, temporarily. I MUST thank the staff at Moon Residence and Spa for their hospitality and dedication to customer service. The website and photos are exactly spot-on. There are no surprises; what is advertised is what I got. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable with traditional Khmer design and furniture. The grounds are very well maintained, the pool is beautiful, the plants are well maintained and lovely. I have stayed in 5 different hotels over the years in Siem Reap and this by far was the most comfortable, clean and maintained. The breakfast is very good and fresh. The one dinner I had was also very good. The only negative was the sewage renovation on the street outside. But it is happening throughout the city. Mr. Soy, the General Manager was honest and helpful in difficult times. I thank him for the hospitality and wish them all the best on being able to re-open as soon as possible. I strongly recommend The Moon Residence and Spa (which I did not try) for your next stay.

This is a very nice hotel with a lot of beautiful trees around the swimming pool. Second floor have a room with a nice view. I can enjoy it all the time if I am not going out. Room is clean , quiet and spacious. the The hotel staffs are very friendly And helpful . Close to pup street and night market. 15 minutes from airport. I am happy to stay here.

The staff were just lovely, very helpful and friendly and nothing was any trouble. Really good location a maximum 10 minute walk to Pub Street and town but nice and quiet. Gorgeous oasis, so friendly & relaxing!
I am so glad that my husband and I found The Moon Residence & Spa for our extended stay in Siem Reap. The staff here is so caring and so dedicated, and the atmosphere is just so lovely and relaxing. The pool is beautiful and the gardens are so wonderfully maintained. The food is great, including a delicious breakfast. The staff made it feel like home from home and helped with anything we asked of them including tours and arranging airport transfers by Tuk Tuk. The pool is larger than it looked on the photos which was a bonus. My room was huge with a bath and shower along with two outdoor seating areas. Most importantly it was clean! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone.

A nice place, I don’t know that it is as “exceptional” as the reviews say, that’s probably only because they give you a discount on food and drinks if you write a good review for them, bit sneaky. It was reasonable though, breakfast was nice, staff were very attentive, almost over-friendly - we were asked where we were going and where we had been every time we went through the foyer. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but I haven’t found one that is yet in south east Asia, refreshing pool, good location close to pub street

Highly recommended hotel with great service.
Excellent hotel with huge and comfortable rooms. The pool is a nice getaway from the heat and the breakfast was great. The only improvements could be slightly smaller/softer pillows and a bigger mirror.

It looked nice but cleanliness was questionable with hair, dust and black flakes on the bed. Not to mention, what looked like tiny millipedes that kept appearing in our rooms and hallways. Concierge also made quite a few mistakes repeatedly. Apologies from the manager seemed disingenuous.

Hotel is relatively quiet and secluded in a busy area, the ground floor room occupied was spacious and pleasant if a little too dark, TV , Aircon etc worked well. The service standard of the staff, restaurant, bar was very good. Main drawback was the presence of large numbers of mosquitoes experienced both in our room and in public areas including reception which I felt was unacceptable. This health anxiety should be alleviated by better control measures and staff vigilance. I brought this to the managements attention. Siem Reap ia a very competetive accomodation environment on balance the Hotel and Staff , their services and support were very good and recommendable to fellow travellers.

한국인 후기가 없어서 남겨봅니다. 우선, 펍스트릿과의 거리는 정말 가까운 편입니다. 걸어서 갈만하고 7~10분정도면 가는 듯 합니다. 레드피아노 정도는 걸어갈 수 있습니다. 15분 정도? 방 안에는 모기 없었지만 방 밖에는 많았는데 이건 어쩔 수 없는 거 같아요. 조식은 유럽식, 미국식, 아시안식 3종류이며 더 먹고 싶으면 더 달라하면 줍니다. 유럽식은 빵에 콘푸레이크or뮤즐리, 미국식은 빵, 베이컨, 소세지, 계란요리(오믈렛 후라이 등 중 택) 아시안은 볶음밥, 볶음면, 국수, 콘지(죽) 입니다. 실패없는 메뉴들이라 특별히 맛있는건 아니지만 무난히 먹을 수 있습니다. 방은 넓은편인거같고 매일 생수 2병을 줍니다. 공학픽업이 가능하며 툭툭을 무료로 제공하고 10달러 추가 시, 차로 이동 가능합니다. 공항까지는 차로 20분 정도 걸립니다. 체크아웃 이후 짐보관을 해주며 필요하면 샤워 시설을 쓸 수 있으나 1개 뿐이고 수건이나 어매니티는 제공되지 않습니다. 룸 기본 어매니티는 1회용 칫솔치약, 샴푸, 린스, 바디워시, 샤워캡, 빗, 면봉입니다. 저는 가족 4명이 가서 커넥팅 룸이었는데 괜찮았던 것 같습니다. 숙소 바로앞에 마트도 있고 24시간 하는 구멍가게 있어 물이나 맥주 사기에 괜찮고 noi coffee라고 바로앞에 카페 있는데 기본 투샷(우리나라 메가커피st?)에 라지 사이즈입니다. 걸어서 10분 거리에 하루 이용에 1달러인 헬스장 있어서 가봤는데 머신 있을 거 다 있습니다. 모래먼지 많은 건 감수해야 합니다.... 럭셔리한 호텔은 아닙니다만 그냥 편하게 시내 근처에서 지내기 좋은 듯 합니다.

Wonderful stay!
We love it. We stayed 3 days 2 nights in this hotel in January 2020. Staffs are very warm and helpful. Location is great and close to Pub Street. Property is very well maintained. Rooms are spacious and quiet. I would strongly recommend to my friends and family.

Staff were really nice. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was OK, could be better. It was about an 8 minute walk from Pub Street so not as noisy

Couple Goals
This was the best decision we made while in Siem Reap. The staff were very helpful and warm. The food was nice and the swimming pool was very beautiful. I'd recommend this hotel any day

Great hotel! Definitely recommend!
Great hotel!!! Highly recommend!! The staff was beyond friendly!! They are very friendly and so accommodating!! The room was beautiful and clean!! The restaurant at the hotel is very adorable with great food! We traveled with our 1 year old son, so after putting him to bed at night we would order from the menu and they delivered it to our porch. If easy 5 minute walk to the market!

This place is terrific. Such a beautiful hotel very close to everything. The rooms are huge and very nice. The blue for the money is unmatched. This is where you should stay. It’s perfect.
