Stayed for 10 days. You get what you paid for. Looks scenic on the photos than it actually is. communication was difficult. Owner/person at the reception encourages tuktuk drivers to overprice you instead of letting you know that actual prices. Overall it was an ok place.

hospitality and great location
Went there with my parents, dad had difficulty with walking due to a leg injury but the staff was extremely courteous. Helped us with rooms on the lower floor and arranged for cab/tuk tuk very promptly whenever we needed them. Location is a big plus and this a a real value for money place so I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Siem Reap

Do not go till construction finished
This place has construction going on that starts at 6.30am... I did read before I booked but everything is covered in concrete dust and was hard to sit outside your room or even use the pool there was that many piles of rubbish, bricks, tools and cords everywhere... in a great spot but to be taking peoples money with no discount to stay in a dump like that is not on.

An Adequate stay with good location
Stayed 4 days, no elevator was on the third floor, some stairs uneven - for a senior not so good. Room was good, clean, careful of the tile in the bathroom when wet. Shower is part of the bathroom. Good pressure and good temperature adjustment. Beds good, ask for a second pillow. Pool was most refreshing but, the steps getting into are slippery tile and uneven so be VERY CAREFUL. Food in the restaurant is not so good. For coffee go next door to the Laundromat/bistro (Lost Socks) fantastic coffee. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, limited in the English language but basically acceptable. Rates are more than reasonable. Location is with in walking distance of the Night Market, Pub Street etc. Be carefully of the traffic, cars, scooters etc and the uneven pavement or lack there of. Night lighting is mostly from vehicles. I would recommend this hotel but remember, you get what you pay for. .

Nice hotel great location
Nice size of room although all are right beside the pool or bar. Also a school right next door which is noisy (morning bells and children screaming) staff are very friendly. Bathroom smelt fusty, had to get someone to clean the hair out of the drain. Sink and floor both backed up and flood. Nice restaurant at hotel. Nice place, only negative is the bathroom and noise.

Lovely family, eager to please, but bed's a killer
The family who run this small hotel are especially nice & eager to please. Their restaurant offers a pretty wide variety of Western & Asian/Khmer dishes - their mango smoothie is the best! So is shrimp shiu mai. Room was small & dark, but biggest upset was the bed. Instead of the lovely traditional Khmer bed with very firm mattress (wonderful for the back!), it's a lousy foam thing you sink into, misaligning back & leaving you miserable. I'd stay there again because the family is lovely & helpful, the location close to Pub Street (but away from all that raucous noise) is great. But the bed was a killer.

Excellent location and pleasant stay
Location - The hotel is strategically located just around the corner of pub street and night markets, just a close 3-5 walk and away from all the noise and traffic. Hotel - A small cozy family owned hotel, managed by Lucky Loy, who speaks good English, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel staffs were also friendly and accommodating. Food is good with affordable pricing. There's also a cute little bunny who hops around freely around the hotel so do look out for our little friend! Room - We stayed in the deluxe twin room for 3 nights. The room is simple with necessary amenities provided. The bed is big (super single) and comfortable. TV has a lot of channels in various language. It would be advisable to wear room slippers during your stay due to tiny insects and sand/dust from outside the room. Unavoidable in Cambodia when you open the room door! Having said that, the hotel staffs do sweep the floor daily.

Well the photos looked like it would be more scenic, peaceful But it's on a Busy street downtown.. Staff are wonderful, sweet family runs the coffee shop, $2 for omelette, bread, coffee, WOW...also you'll need voltage convertor-Surge adapter cause they use 230 volts here w/ 2 skinny prongs..good wifi, tiny tv, basic cable, pool looks decent.... All in all for $17 / night...can't complain... Sweeeeet Cambodian service..

Great Value
Went to my first trip to Cambodia and found an incredible rate for this hotel. The room was pretty bare bones but the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean. The location is fantastic as it's very close to Pub Street and the food and staff couldn't have been better. The place could use a coat of paint or two but if you're looking for a clean, safe and inexpensive place to stay I recommend this hotel.

Good location
The hotel is very closely located to the night markets and Pub Street. Probably 5-10 minutes on foot. Taking a tuk tuk to Angkor Wat only took us about 20 - 30 minutes and about 1 hour to Banteay Srei. It is a family run hotel and the staff were all very friendly. They are attentive to your requests and will assist with making arrangements such as booking of tuk tuk or car. Kinda feel like you're at home. Overall, a pleasant and good stay - would recommend all to stay here!

Great location but old villa.
Overall, it is a pleasant trip. The hotel provides round trip transfer for guest from airport to hotel and vice versa. However, when I was on my way back to the airport on the last day, they said they will need to charge, which I don't have time to argue with them and paid. This was the only thing I do not like about it. However, they do provide early check in and late check out for me as my flight was early in the morning. They also waited me as my flight delayed. The receptionist is friendly but their English command was weak and I need to explain very hard to them to get the information I needed. The hotel room was big but it was old. Floors are not clean and toilet bowl are always stuck. The location was superb and walking distance to night market and pub street.

Affordable Guesthouse w/Great Staff & Facilities,
Really enjoyed stay here for 3 nights. Staff were very kind and they cleaned my room everyday. There is a new pool which is gorgeous and very large for a boutique guesthouse. Location is the best part - walking distance to everything. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked like a decent breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic guest house, you won't regret it.
Best guest house we have stayed in all of our Asia trip so far in 2 months of travel. Very clean rooms, of a good size, modern and stylish. Very well located so not to far from all the hustle but low road noise. Very helpful and friendly staff that have good English. Very nice manager let us stay in our room all day after the checkout time at no extra expense as we had a late sleeper bus booked for 1000 pickup. So we was able to get a shower before we left, means a lot to us weiry travellers, feel more human for the long coach ride ahead. Would totally recommend this place, very high 3 star. Fantastic. Only problem is its down hill from here as others can't match the quality for the price. Go book it

Convenient location, not-so-great hotel.
This hotel is extremely close to the Night Market and several restaurants, so a Tuk Tuk is not needed for most. You can basically walk to when you're in need of food or want to shop. However, I booked 2 nights at this hotel and only stayed once. Sheets were dirty and had bed bugs; the surroundings are very noisy and distracting (you won't sleep well); and you do not feel safe at all times due to the basic lock on your room door. Most of the furniture was broke in my room, the safe did not have instructions, and the shower did not turn on.

This hotel has a lot of pluses but if your fussy then just spend more money somewhere else and keep the complaints for whatever first world country you are from. Rooms are basic but clean, staff friendly and very accomodating. Very good breakfast options and a great neighborhood in terms of noise and proximity to night market and pub street.

Nice hotel, very close to night market. There are hotels within 50m that are the same price for a family room (approx $45/night 4persons) &have a pool, which is a blessing after a day at the temples.

The hotel is situated in a quiet lane. It is an easy 5 mins walk to Pub Street. Along the way, you can find roadside stalls, cafes and restaurants, bus agencies. Pleasant and Friendly
Most of the people in Siem Reap were friendly, but the staff at the hotel were especially friendly. The room was great, with a big, comfortable bed, lots of space, a mini-fridge and plenty of electrical outlets. The hotel is about a block and a half off of the main street, so it's an easy walk, but it's also very quiet. They arranged airport pick-up for me and got me a driver for Angkor Wat. The wifi would sometimes not work well in my room, though I was at the far end of the property, and wifi never seemed to work well anywhere in Siem Reap. Overall though, a very comfortable stay.

I saw the reviews about this hotel and gave it a go. I arrived with my friend and we were blown away by the location. It's 100 meter to night market. The rooms where very comfortable beds were soft and tea and coffee was in room and reception for own usage. The staff were super friendly and treated us like royalty. We left and came to phenom phen. We have now decided to go back as the place was awesome and siem reap is small enough to enjoy.

Nice Hotel
Really nice vibe with the hotel. Staff were lovely and unobtrusive and we felt very comfortable there. There were a few negatives though. We did request twin beds and got a double instead, not a big deal since we aren't large people and the double was bigger than a queen. There was only one power outlet in the room, no hot water for the shower, and noisy construction activities outside starting early and finishing late. Many of the reviews complain hard beds and the open shower in the bathroom but this is expected in asia and the hotel should not be faulted for that.

A great place to stay
A really nice hotel with a wonderful staff. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and well appointed. The A/C worked well and the bathroom was adequate. The only negative was that after waking early for the sunrise at Angkor Wat we wanted to take a nap, but the room was quite loud because of the school next door. Even with the fan and A/C, it was too loud to sleep undisturbed. Besides that point, we really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice comfortable hotel with Great location.
Was there for two days. Very nice hotel and wonderful experience overall. Very good location however I little hard to find. My tuk-tuk driver had to call to get direction. You can also arrange for a free pickup (I didn't), but it was only $2 by tuk-tuk. I was warmly greeted by two wonderful front desk staff. I was early (very early!) but they were very nice to get my room ready within 20 minutes while I had some banana snack with cold water. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Politely gave me an idea about the area and the town, while I was waiting for my room .Room was nice size and comfortable. Running hot a cold water and perfectly working A/C unit (which was needed). No elevator but its only two floors. Great privacy and not noisy at all. Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the night market and about 10 from the old city. No biggie. Great places to eat around the hotel. Felt safe. Highly recommended.

great friendly service
my sister and i stayed two nights. we took a taxi from the airport, having forgotten to schedule their airport shuttle service. the young lady checking us in was very friendly, quick, and helpful, and spoke english very well. since we wanted to catch sunrise and spend most of our next day at the temples, she had breakfast packed to go and arranged for a tuk tuk driver to direct/accompany us from place to place. the day/night markets and pub street are within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, so it was easy to find meals and shop. breakfast was provided and simple, but very good. the room was clean and nicely air-conditioned. the shower was refreshingly cool to lukewarm, only occasionally hot. i had to search for a dry place to keep things, though. a little off the main road, it was quieter, for the most part, but our last morning, there was music blaring from down the street, which wasn't much of a problem for us since we were already awake, but i mention it as a heads up for future patrons. i forget what time it was...not super early, but probably before 10. since our flight out wasn't until mid-afternoon, we asked for and received a late checkout without a problem (thank you!) and were able to indulge in a much needed last minute shower prior to departing for the airport. overall, this was a great stay; clean room, wonderful service, and conveniently located. i would definitely stay here again.

Found the hotel on Expedia by studying location and price and thought it looked warm and friendly. I've stayed at top end hotels in Siem Reap on several previous trips but wanted something a little more homey and closer to downtown. The Unique Angkor looked pretty good and turned out even better. I wouldn't hesitate to book. The management and owner are on-site and they are extremely professional and warm and friendly too. All in all a good place to stay. Only frustration we had was with the lack of towels here. Hotel seems to have only one set for each room. After a day out and coming home all hot, sticky and dusty, we wanted to clean ourselves but could not do so as all the hotel towels would be getting cleaned. You would have to wait until mid/late evening for towels.

Well-located, clean hotel near Pub Street
Excellent location a few streets away from Pub street (4 minute walk). The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and there is a nice open-air area in the lobby for breakfast or just having a coffee. Breakfast is a simple affair but includes eggs made to order. Coffee/tea is available 24/7 in the lobby. A nice touch are the complimentary small bananas and banana chips set up by the coffee/tea station for guests. Rooms are also equipped with water kettle and coffee/tea service, plus 2 bottles of water daily. The beds were very firm, but we found that to be common. The bathroom is very small - no separation of the shower head from the rest of the bathroom so everything gets wet, but there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. The AC worked well in January weather, but not sure how it would function in summer. The staff can arrange tuk tuks and drivers, but prices may be lower from the tour offices and drivers around Pub Street. Overall, I would stay here again.
