"Loved this hotel, nice location and very comfortable rooms. The breakfast was a big perk, it was really delicious with a ton of options. Easy walking location in Vik. Would highly recommend this as a stop if you are passing through or staying for a few days. "

"We saw the Northern Lights from the back window - amazing! Laundry room downstairs worked out conveniently. Great location walking distance from a grocery store too."

"Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again."

"We stayed at Farmhouse Lodge’s Chicken house for 2 days before Christmas and absolutely loved it. The Chicken house has everything- fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom. The location is wonderful since you can go and see several waterfalls and black sands beaches near by. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to explore that area of Iceland."
