"Excellent property all around with outstanding service, a great rooftop terrace restaurant for fine dining and sunset views with adjacent cocktail bar with live music, and enormous free breakfast with live music and food for the day, and a large pool with plenty of uncrouded lounge chairs. Location is at the quiet end of the city next to a lovely park, but a two minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. "

"Wonderful location, staff, and amenities. The views are spectacular and the grounds are gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There were no communication issues and everyone was multilingual. We would certainly stay again. The food was excellent with significant portions. We also had options to dine by the water or above overlooking the water and the boats. The sunset at dinner was magnificent. I would suggest that the hotel give guests a way to express their appreciation via tips on the actual food and beverage bills. I tried to add that on to several bills only to later learn they could not do that. It made tipping the staff for their extraordinary service difficult as I don’t always have cash on hand while on vacation. "

"Our stay at Hotel Gran Aminta was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier. The housekeeping staff kept our room spotless and went above and beyond every day. A special shoutout to the porter who helped with our bags—he was incredibly friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious—we looked forward to every meal. The bar service was excellent, and the bartender made sure we always had what we needed. Reception was just as impressive—warm, welcoming, and always helpful. The entire staff truly made our experience unforgettable. This hotel gets a 10 out of 10 from us. We would absolutely return and recommend it. "

"I can’t fault this hotel or its staff. Having read previous reviews that stated about issues with the lighting systems in rooms I was slightly worried. However, we had no such issues and found our room to be extremely comfortable and the lighting easy to navigate. I would like to thank the staff for their attentiveness after my daughter injured her knee in the hotel lobby. They showed concern and gave her ice to help with the swelling. In the following days they checked on her well being. This was very much appreciated."

"If you want to stay right near the water and the ports, this is the place to be. Cool at night (no AC in the rooms) and conveniently located near the water and excellent restaurants. However, if you are going between the hotel and the downtown area, there is a big hill to climb with lots of stairs. There is an elevator, but a small walk to get there. The hotel was clean, the breakfast in the morning provided options and the rooftop bar was my favorite place."
