"A conveniently situated hotel to serve as a base for exploration around the peninsula and the Amalfi coast. Aside from its location, the best thing about this hotel was the view (we were facing the water). Breakfast got the job done, but it was nothing to write home about. Staff at the front desk felt distant at best. The hotel is showing its age, but it was clean."

"Our stay was pretty close to perfect here. The location was near the main square and there was parking (paid) on premises. Everything in town was an easy walk and getting the car when needed was not a problem. The breakfast buffet provided was very extensive and service was excellent. Room had a great bed and a balcony with a slight view of the water. The front desk helped us book a boat to positano and amalfi."

"The hotel is stunning and very well maintained. A few moans I only booked the hotel at this time of year for the indoor pool to find it has been closed for ages this should have been clear on Hotels . Com website. We stayed 3 nights and they requested 50 euro a night deposit against anything we purchased. On leaving I was asked if the same card could be used for the local tax which I said yes expecting for the sun to be reduced from my deposit and the balance return to my account. But not they charged the local tax when I asked for the 150 euro return I was told we would complete this return in about 5 days. This for me is taking the “P” as this should have been processed immediately just like we did the other way on arrival. Not impressed with the policy which clearly means on such large sums held of all customers interest is being earns from our money."

"Everything was excellent—we were met outside just as we pulled in, white glove treatment from the moment we walked in; fine dining was excellent, the hotel was like a museum, so beautiful, surrounded by lemon trees. Shops, restaurants, cafes, just around the block and the lift to the ferry is a 5 minute walk. Continental breakfast was excellent and WiFi was decent. Staff beyond lovely. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else the next time we’re in Sorrento. "

"Nice people and very reasonable prices. Location not the best if you DON’T do your research ahead of time. -But if you can figure out how to purchase bus tickets in downtown Sorrento at a tobacco shop first, then it is only about 8 minutes from the city center. I was shocked to find out that taxi cabs cost anywhere from 40-70 euro for such a short distance. Do yourself a favor and take the EAV 008 bus towards the property (or back and forth for that matter) and contact the hotel, they have a free shuttle available that picks you up at the top of the hill at the bus stop (last pick up is 12 midnight)!! The other amenities could use some work.. maybe a microwave and snacks for travelers? The views of the marina bay were fantastic and the staff was amazing. Thank you so much everyone, I will certainly return if I’m ever back in Sorrento!"

"Spectacular hotel! The staff is very attentive . The shuttle to the center was very helpful as roadway sidewalks are very narrow to and from hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal. "
