Hyatt Regency Times Square

8/10 Good

"Great upscale property right in the middle of Times Square close walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee (starbucks). It had the upscale feel. Friendly staff esp luggage storage was a huge plus. The rooms were and clean and had been remodeled and had an upscale look. However, there was absolutely no water pressure in the shower - it was just a trickle. Since we stayed only one night, we did not complain. This has to be fixed - otherwise, I don't see us staying here again."

"Overall it was a GREAT stay. Very friendly staff and super accessible for New York visitors. My 14 year old daughter said this was one of her highlights of our entire trip. You know how hard it is to impress a teenager!? I’d stay here again no doubt. Our room was really clean, and well maintained during our day trips out into the city."

"PUBLIC is a very hip hotel with very nice amenities and a seemingly great following. Lots always going on in the common areas. Great juice bar and trippy escalator experience upon entering the foyer. The beds are incredibly comfy!! Who knew that an on/off button in the generous shower stall (great water pressure) was what my life was missing. Great location steps away from 2nd Avenue subway and a well-appointed Whole Foods. Really enjoyed our stay here!"

"Outdated hotel, where they just try to make money of everything. The restaurant doesn't exist,just bar with few options like pizza and burger. I can't believe they have four stars. They pretend to offer loyalty but option are reduced to nothing.That is after spending 3k in the place ."
