"Stayed here a couple of times. Value for money each time. Clean and tidy. Often a little annoying to check in and then have to go to the other building to stay, but it’s a good place for a quick night."

"Read the info carefully this is a shared kitchen and bathroom . Quite noisy outside too and the exterior needs a tidy up. Also quite difficult to find too"

"I couldn’t travel due to the Tube strikes so a couple of days beforehand I asked to move the booking and requested they waived any charge but accepted I would pay the same price even if the cost of the room was less on a new date. I knew there was a risk I’d lose my money but it was worth a conversation.
Despite several attempts to contact them they totally ignored both me and Hotels.com until the day when they said they told Hotels.com they wouldn’t accept anything and I’d be charged the full...

"The location of this Inn is terrific. Lots of really good restaurants within a short walk. Staff are friendly and even let us check in early. The room was on the small side and could use a decor refresh but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again."

"The room was clean and freshly painted. It was VERY small. The lights were next to the room door for both the bedroom & bathroom. No switch in the bathroom. Also no outlet for a hairdryer in the bathroom.
Though we got off on an annoying foot when after a red eye flight, we arrived 20 minutes before check in and had to store our baggage, the rest of our stay was great! The staff were kind and helpful. Having a restaurant for a late night snack or drink on site was wonderful. The small bar also opened early with pastries & coffee. The restaurant offered a buffet breakfast that was ridiculously overpriced. Fortunately within a few steps of the hotel were several great breakfast options."
"This was a great hotel if you are traveling by train. 10 minutes walk to Eustin or St. Pancras. Older hotel and does not have air conditioning. You can get a fan on request. We were there during a few school trips which made it busy at breakfast and a bit loud in the evening. The staff were great and helpful navigating the kids"
"Location wise - Great property, On the outside in the public areas, it is nice, in the rooms, Okay, not the best.
The rooms don't have AC, and we were given a fan and earbuds in the room to counteract the noise from having the window open overnight, which inherently risks letting bugs in.
Another complaint is that upon arriving, we were greeted by a receptionist who needs a reminder is basic customer service. We arrived at 9am, and dropped off our bags, which was great, and we asked them "is there any chance of a early check in" and we got told abruptly, No it's 2pm.
We then popped back at 11ish and asked "if there is any chance there's any rooms ready early" and again, was rudely informed "no, come back at 2".
Working in hotels, my partner and I know how rooms work, and we had hoped that one room would've been ready early or at least sharp.
We checked again at 1pm, and told the same, and we eventually got in around 1.50 however the receptionist still wasn't helpful at all
In the end, the hotel looks amazing and has potential on the inside, but the staff and rooms need a bit of work, as it felt like their performance of Fawlty towers at reception and in the rooms, rather than the High quality the style of the hotel should have."
"The view was amazing and the staff was very helpful and informative. We stayed at the suit as a treat to my father and could see Big Ben and the London eye from where we stayed. We arrived earlier then check in time but the staff treated us to a complimentary drink while we waited for our room. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the abbey if you walk. London was in the middle of a heat wave and we walked everyday to see the sights. We didn't try their breakfast but there are small cafes near by with plenty of options. The room itself was great for the view and the amount of space and layout. However the floors were so dusty/ dirty and could have used a good vacuuming and mopping but that was the only issue we had. When we had trouble with the bathroom door the maintenance were quick to come up and fix the issue."
"Beware that if you agree to signing up for their rewards program and agree to decline housekeeping services, the option for a 10 pound voucher is NOT good for their breakfast. We were told it was when we signed up and then was told at the breakfast venue it stated that it WASN’T good for breakfast on the voucher ( it did not). It was supposedly good at their restaurant (evidently the brunch area isn’t considered a restaurant), bar… no mention of where it wasn’t good at.
The breakfast/brunch was ok, but not worth the 25pounds per person we paid. We actually had a more extensive brunch at the Derby Holiday Inn, the week before, which was included in the room rate.
Also, they had an announcement one afternoon that an incident had occurred and to stay in our rooms for further announcements. Shortly, another announcement stated there was a fire and to leave the hotel. No fire doors were closed when we walked in the hall to the steps. We went down 7 flights, along with other guests and were escorted out the building. When we asked where the fire had been, several hours later, we were told by two separate employees that it had been announced it was a drill and not to worry about leaving the hotel. Clearly, that message was NOT what we heard and there was no concern shown that the fire doors weren’t activated when the alarm went off. I found that concerning.
Other than those incidents, the room and facility was very nice and employees were helpful."
"Overall, our stay was okay, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of. The room was significantly smaller than it appeared in the photos. There was very little space to open suitcases, and storage was none existent, making it difficult to organize clothes and personal items during our stay.
Housekeeping was also more limited than we expected, as towels were not replaced daily. While this may be part of the hotel’s policy, it would have been helpful to know this in advance.
On the positive side, the property was clean and served its basic purpose as a place to stay while exploring London. However, the room size and lack of storage space made the experience less comfortable than we had anticipated based on the listing."
"Location is great if going to Tower of London & Tower Bridge which is why I chose hotel. Hotel is under going renovations, there is no AC currently and it was hot in London late May so that was a DRAG!!!!"
