Nice & lovely apartment in the old town Gamla Stan, lovely neighborhood, all necessary equipment provided in the apt. Only one thing, no elevator and we had to climb up to second floor (actually 3rd fl) with super big luggage. Good service from ApartDirect Team, quick response whenever we had a problem!

Lovely downtown apartment
Lovely apartment in the old village of Stockholm. Near to shops, restaurants, and the metro for Gamla Stan. Plenty of space for a family of 5 and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Excellent location in old town with easy access to shopping, sighntseeing, restaurants, and the subway. The flat was neat and cute. However, the bathroom was very small making hard to maneuver. It would have been nice to get instructions how the heat and TV worked and also to be warned about the 6 am cleaning of the pub below (glass bottles thrown out and dragging of furniture). Otherwise great place!

Really nice and spacious property in the centre of Gamala Stan. You can walk into the centre of Stockholm without thinking and walk to local transport. Really nice customer service when I called to check my information.

Great place in prime location!
We stayed here with our family of 6. Worked out well for us. Our kids enjoyed each having their own little space (2 in the little bedrooms, one on the sofa bed), and baby slept in bed w/ us (no infant crib on site). Separate toilet room from shower room is convenient for a larger family (or other groups of people). The location is excellent - right in the heart of the old city and easy to walk to everything. Kitchen was well equipped. Washing machine dials are all in Swedish - we had to ask a Swedish friend to help! (maybe provide English translation/instruction near the washer).

The property is above a pub with live music until 1.30am or beyond. The used glass ware is collected before 8am for large bins It is entirely unsuitable for a peaceful trip to Stockholm and entirely unsuitable for a work trip. I would say it is completely unacceptable to rent this out at all - other than to kids partying until 2am.

Dear James!Thank you so much for writing a review. Sorry to hear that you was disturb with some noise from the bar, but in Gamla Stan area many bars , because is middle of the city, I can suggest you to choose other area for your stay , if you go in a working trip.

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and bright. It is in a great location. The restaurant downstairs has live music but we didn't find it intrusive or a problem with sleeping. I would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Stockholm.

I liked the vintage look and that it was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. It had a comfortable sofa bed as well. One of the antique living room chairs was very wiggly so we didn’t dare sit on it. I wouldn’t remove it because it’s part of a set, but maybe put a sign or glue some late ornament on it so no one can use it. I definitely recommend you getting this apartment. We three had enough hot water but we were mindful. I suggest a water heater that is only turned on when in use and is more environmentally friendly and guests don’t have to worry about hot water but again I want to add that we didn’t ran out. I loved our apartment and stay.

Overall a clean, large space located conveniently in Old Town. Cons - right above a tavern that has live music every night from 8-11pm, and trucks arriving every morning around 5-6am. There are lots of little steps up and down to trip over if you're not careful. My husband unfortunately hit his head almost every time leaving the bathroom as there's a step down out of the bathroom and a low threshold. Beds were comfortable and the space was clean and well equipped. There's old stone stairs and no elevator so be prepared.

Great location in heart of old town close to metro. Confusion on their website about which appartments have washing machines, when we contacted them they said we had chosen the apartment but would not accept that their website actually was misleading. Apart from this which was a reason for choosing the apartment it was a great stay.

Great spacious property in heart of Gamla Stan. Very clean, warm & secure, fully equipped kitchen, can’t fault apartment at all. Some noise from pub downstairs but that’s to be expected. I will stay here again 👍

Great Central Location in Gamla Stan
Great stay in a centrally-located Gamla Stan apartment. Apartment was up two flights of stairs, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. Apartment was comfortable and large. Shower was kind of tiny, but overall a nice place & great experience. We received an email with entry instructions and keypad codes a few days before check-in and had no problem accessing the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was an excellent location in gamla Stan we walked everywhere and it is right on a street with dozens of restaurants and bars. There were three adults and we had plenty of room and space and were able to buy groceries coffee etc

Spotless inside. The common area was a bit sketchy but the condition of the apt was perfect. Tiny European bath but large and bright unit. Eight in the heart of Gamla Stan so you’ve got to be ok with late night revel Wes and early am vendors. Super convenient location.

Great location
The apartment was in a great location in the old city centre of Gamla Stan. Even though the location was great, bare in mind that no taxis will drop you off at the apartment, so you need to be prepared to roll your luggage over cobble stoned streets to get there - considering we have a family of four with lots of bags, this was quite and effort, as was carrying the bags up two flights of stairs (no lift). The apartment was very spacious and clean, and had the bonus of having a washing machine available for use. We would definitely recommend staying here to other travellers.

Lovely and cozy house
Love the stay here! The location is great, walkable to central station as well as some of the attractions! Room is big and cozy, although we have some problem when opening the door. But neighbours are friendly to instruct us about opening the main gate and even helped to find our department.

Great location and quiet but on 3rd floor with no elevator so if you can't carry luggage up several flights of stairs, not for you. Pictures are deceptive - photos are from 2 different apartments and quite a difference in the 2 - now labeled "Standard" and "Superior". I didn't see that when I booked so we were expecting a wash machine (in the Superior but not one in the Standard". All the supplies are in the closet outside the apartment - weren't told that so had to request extra coffee, tp, towels etc. but they were in the closet. Standard apt listed for 4 max but that would be a real stretch - table was barely sufficient for my wife and I. All in all, I would recommend it for 2 people able to carry luggage up the stairs.

GREAT LOCATION
This was a great option for a family to visit old town Stockholm. Right in the middle of some great sights. The only problem is getting there with your rental car. There is literally no long-term parking on the island. Most people seemed to be walking in from the train or some remote parking location. Next time I would park out of town at a train depot and would ride in with a taxi or on the train. But... the location was worth it and we would stay again.

Great and large apartment directly in the City. Only minus was that it is a little cold in Winter times (only 1 layer) windows and a little noisy at night and early mornings, which must be expected in the middle of city.

+++ : Appartement idéalement situé au cœur de Gamla Stan. +++ : Disponibilité par téléphone de l’équipe d’Appart Direct. On a réussi à avancer d’1 heure le check in. - - : Appartement sans charme, pas decoré. Avec le minimum en terme d’équipements de cuisine. Sans machine à vaisselle. manquait un grand nombre d’ustensiles basiques pour cuisiner ou préparer un repas. - - : le nombre de chambres n’était pas clair dans l’annonce. Nous étions 6 personnes. Et 2 ont donc dormi dans le salon. Une chambre (lit seul) était en enfilade d’une autre chambre à 2. La porte de la chambre qui donne sur le salon ne se ferme plus. Les fenêtres ferment mal. Petite salle de bain. L’appartement est mieux pour 4 que pour 6. - : au dessus d’un pub. Un peu bruyant de 18h à 23h30.

Jättestor lägenhet där man kan tvätta och med flera rum som var mycket mysiga och fina matsalen med stort matbord jag trivdes jättemycket och dessutom om när jag hade glömt min dator så ringde de mig kort efter så att jag hade möjlighet att hämta jag stördes inte så mycket av puben som låg precis nedanför Jag märkte den bara när jag gick ut centralt och bra
