Hotels with Swimming Pools in Stratford-upon-Avon

"We have visited this hotel many times before, and it has been amazing., unfortunately this time round was a different story. Communication was poor, we had booked a suite as a treat for Easter, part of this package was VIP parking, when we arrived the car park was closed, no email, no message on the Expedia chat with the hotel. We parked in the multi-story which was fine, the next day we were informed that the car park was now open, we moved the car only to be sent back by security who informed us the car park was not available, just kept getting sent back to the multi-story, the front desk had no idea. The room was fine, bit run down and shabby; robes in the room dirty with fake tan, although the espa products were a nice touch. Mini bar was another perk of the room, however we had to chase to get it replenished! Had dinner in the sky lounge, again dirty floors, a quick carpet sweeper would have fixed that but the staff were using a broom on the carpet which wasn’t doing anything. Main course arrived before the starter, but that got fixed eventually. We were overcharged on the bill and this needed correcting, it just felt that the staff did not communicate with each other! Casino bar used to be the place to go for a nice G&T however we were told, they don’t do that anymore and they don’t have a drinks menu? We left… The high line bar was a nice new edition, live music, good staff, although my wine was corked! Overall a poor experience!"

"we had a lovely room which was nice and light and very clean. Breakfast each morning was great with lots of choices. We enjoyed going down to the bar for coffee in the afternoon. And the location of the hotel is perfect for access accessibility to the town."

"Lovely hotel, great location, only 10min walk to centre of town, lovely staff. Very friendly and helpful. Did not use the bar or restaurant or breakfast. Room lovely and clean and nice size. Impressed there was two chairs in the room. Usually only one and someone has to sit on the bed "
