Top Strickland Ketel Hotel Reviews
Riverside Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast, shops nearby, comfortable large room Parking good too"
Holiday Inn Lancaster by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The fridge was annoying. It started every 20 minutes and woke me up every time"
Beech Hill Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Adam on reception was the best, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was first class. The hot tub on the balcony helped to make this a 5 star visit and if that is was not enough you can pop down to the swimming pool."
Lakeside Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Room was nice but the toilet seat didn’t fit properly and stains on carpet and knob on switch missing otherwise lovely room"
Lakes Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for a few nights at the end of July. The hotel itself had good facilities - a lovely spa area and swimming pool, a "pub" underneath the spa/next to the pool, and a balcony area where food was also served. The view over the lake from the balcony was nice, and the food was excellent. It was nice and quiet, and location wise it was a few minutes walk to the lake and then on to Bowness itself. The only downside is that there's no ski lift up to the hotel after a hard day's hillwalking :D In terms of the bedroom - the bed was comfy and the room was quiet and clean. The furniture was overall good, and the bathroom was a bit small but definitely functional. The only major knock is that there's no air-conditioning, only one desk fan. This was ok when we went, but would no doubt have been very difficult if we had gone during one of the heatwaves. Overall though, I'd recommend staying at Lakes (also - visiting the Lake District in general!)"
The Belsfield Hotel

"Fantastic weekend, excellent hotel with amazing views. Very friendly staff."
Pine Lake Resort
8/10 Good
"Duck poop is almost everywhere and they have no kids playground. There is one but its so small. Weird for a holiday park not to have a proper kids play area outside. Next to no food options."
The Ro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room"
