"The family and staff who own and run this resort are absolutely incredible. The service and willingness to please is beyond compare. The food was some of the best we had after being in Indonesia for 2 weeks. If going to the zoo to ha e breakfast with the elephants and orangutans is on your list, this resort is convenient and very special. "Small, semi-secluded property on Purmana beach - a narrow, black sand beach with big waves. It’s probably a good choice for honeymooners or couples seeking isolation. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and well maintained. The service is attentive & courteous, but don't expect proactivity, concierge or a 5-star service level. Good food, catering to European and American guests. Don’t expect spice or truly local flavors. I stayed in a villa with its own pool. It was nice and comfortable but...

"Beautiful setting , fantastic pool , very secluded but service at the hotel was non existent , very , very limited menu at the restaurant ( rat bait in the corner) Poor transport from the hotel , only one way . Some of the staff were most unhelpful and didn't seem to care . We left after two days and went elsewhere for our last three days ."

"Only stayed one night, might be better for longer term stay as some bugs need to be worked out ( connect gas, have room ready, hot water on tap) About 6 villas on the property off the road to Ubud. Villa had large room (this had AC), kitchen and dining area and outdoor bathroom. nice garden and sm pool with views over rice fields and volcano (on clear day) in shared garden area- villa had privacy."

"While the hotel itself was nice, more like an Airbnb, there seems to be a night club nearby which played music very loud between 12am and 3am in the morning. Making it difficult to sleep."
