"Great location to the train station and walking distance to the city centre. The building itself is very old but the rooms are very nice clean and modern. The communication with the hosts and check in process was slightly complicated since it is all digital and no one to speak to directly. I spend 4 hours on the phone with a customer service hotline just trying to get the check in information. Ortea Palace Hotel, Sicily, Autograph Collection

Ortea Palace Hotel, Sicily, Autograph Collection

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at Ortea Palace. I was travelling with my 2 kids - 11 and 15. The hotel is very conveniently located in Ortigia - right across the bridge from Syracusa so easy access to both. The main train station is about 15 mins walk from the hotel. A lot of good restaurants nearby and the main promenade within 10mins walk away. The room was a duplex with two double beds and two bathrooms, which worked great for the three of us. The hotel staff was amazing - anyone from the reception to the staff at the breakfast was super helpful and nothing was too much for them. We were told that this was one of the few luxury hotels in Syracusa. It was clean, modern, conveniently located with super helpful staff and good value for money."
