The people were generous and kind, the food was the best I’ve had in this country (definitely book the hot pot dinner!), and the rooms are charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean. They tell you exactly the best place to watch the sunrise, overlooking the tea plantation just a 2 minute walk down the street. And the seating area on the terrace for both sunrise and sunset are darn near perfect. If I ever come back to Taiwan I’m 1000% staying here again for a longer period of time! To say this place blew me away is an understatement. "

"My room overlooking the village's central area provided interesting views into local life. Breakfast was available at the hotel's modest restaurant across the street. Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."
