front desk check-in service and house keeping were quite excellent.
Concierge desk needs improvement. 1) they got confused and called my room three times. the first two times they hung up immediately when i said “hello”, the third time i switched to speaking Chinese “wei” and the person finally stopped hanging up and proceeded to communicate 2) lots of mistakes. i had returned HDMI cables at the desk but they called to ask if i wanted to borrow cables which is a request from the day before 3) i stayed an additional night so was asked to come down to renew my access card, which i did do so. however, that was pointless because by night time next day my room card stopped working anyways and i had to come down again carrying all my takeout dinner to regain entry. For a 5 star hotel, it’s all about service, so hoping that can be improved for the future.
