"Location was great. Subway was close. Quiet location and room. Kitchenette was great. Laundry facilities were a bonus. Room is getting a bit old and was a little musty but was clean and comfortable."

"It was the perfect place for someone who has never been to Japan before. It was near lots of places and it had lots of things included with your reservation that other places would charge extra for."

"This is our favorite apartment hotel! So clean, spacious, and we love the comfort this place made us feel, kind of like being at home away from home. Great staff and a cute lobby area fit with a craft center for the smaller and bigger kids!"

"Convenient location close to train. A bit of a struggle booking in but finally sorted. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Rooms are small but it is Japan. Felt very safe and reasonably quiet. Laundry facilities are good, not too far out of Tokyo so OK."

"The place was nice and enough room for 7 of us. Location was great as it was near train station, couple of 7-eleven, Lawson and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would comeback again. Communication was clear and fast as well."

"The property is a self check-in which was very simple. The location was perfect for our first visit to Japan. We was a family of 4 and the room was big enough and very clean. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel gym was great and was bigger than I expected. The swimming pool required a fee, so we were not expecting to pay extra for that. The room was a good size, definitely dated but it was clean (though smelled a little like old cigarettes) and we had a nice view of the city. The location is excellent as it is so close to Shinagawa station. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again."
"The Hotel Metropolitan Edmont was an amazing choice to stay in Japan, eapecially for a solo traveler. The rooms were the perfect size for one person, cleaned daily, had a good stock of water bottles that was replenished every day, fresh towels, and the staff kept you up to date on things like windowcleanings and changing your sheets (they would do it on request or every 3 days by default). I was on the 11th floor and never felt like it was difficult getting up and down the floors every time I'd keave and come back. I also had an amazing veiw of downtown Tokyo from my window! The hotel is located just a few blocks away from 2 metro stations making it super easy to get to places like Asakusa, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station super quick. There's also plenty of restaurants, several convenience stores (including a Family Mart right ght iutside the front door that's open 24 hours a day) and a really good coffee spot all within a short walk from the hotel. The check-in process was super easy and smooth, as well as check-out. I didn't have the availability to use the amenities while I was there due to time constraints, but they offer things like a laundry room, several restaurants, aswell as room service. Overall, my experience at the Hotel Metropolitan Edmont was amazing and made my first trip to Japan seamless and a lot less stressfull!"
"Amazing hotel and staff. Very clean, air conditioning worked great. !!!Amazing location!!!!!! amazing restaurant, most definitely would recommend and stay here again.
The ONLY con would be the elevator situation. Some days it would take me 10 min just to get up to my room. It was a nightmare"
"The Villa Fontaine is clean, fairly well located and friendly. We stayed here almost ten years ago and the breakfast options were much better then. Their cooked breakfast remains good but the fruit and pastries are very disappointing. But still…you can walk to Ginza and the glorious chaos of the area around Shimbashi station is fun."
