We booked a family suite and it was perfect. So comfortable it came with everything we needed and more. The room is very big and they were generous with complimentary drinks and amenities. Our kid had so much fun in the camp room with projector we did not want to leave. Will definitely recommend this place

Excellent service, the lobby is in the second floor and there is no elevator, they were more than willing to help with luggage. Items in refrigerator were free to guest, loundry also free. The room was clean spacious beautiful just beautifully. Breakfast was very good, the best part of breakfast in my opinion, was the Ice cream that was available for breakfast. Overall it was a great, great experience.

Great location, less than 5 minutes walk from Takayama station. Nice and well explain stafff. Facilities are well organized. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

Lovely hostel just one minute walking from Takayama station. Very clean, staff super friendly and nice. The common area is very relaxing and welcoming. They have a lot of things to use in the kitchen and a lot of information. Highly recommended.

Awesome concept that works
Great stay in Takayama. The hostel is the most modern we've been to - doors are opened with cards, safes in every room, big locker room with locks. The rooms are pretty cool - it's a "mixed bed" area, but each "room" is curtained off with a double bed. Perfect option for a couple on a budget. The hostel emphasizes being quiet, so we had no trouble with noise, like we usually do in a mixed dorm. Social area was awesome, too, and breakfast was very decent. We'd happily stay again.

Worth a couple of days stay!
The hostel is clean and well maintained. Super easy to check in. You do have to go up a quiet high flight of stairs though, so beware I'd you have heavy luggage. They have lockers available and as long as you bring your own lock, you should be okay. Shower area is very organized and clean, their amenities are pretty neat. My bed was comfortable and the female-only dormitory was fairly quiet except in the morning. Last but not least; the hostel is 2 mins away from the JR Station and the bus terminal - quite a great location if you want to explore the area.

Almost perfect, but not perfect. Why I said that because everything is almost OK except 1. Rest room you did not use as hotel and hostel that stay in Japan. I think that you may save cost for them but you forgot everyone go to Japan and would like to tough the rest room that it is special only Japan. I do not want to see the rest room like Thailand, Malaysia or other countries in the world. 2. Adjustment of water. I do not understand why you set something about hot and cold water? Because during I took a shower and I think that the temperature is OK for me, but during I took a shower, water became cold immediately. Everytime always be like this. I do not understand I just found this situation in your hostel. If you improve for rest room (change to Japan style) and adjustment between hot and warm water, your hostel will be perfect for everything.

I love this hostel!! Very convenience to go to JR station and nohi bust center and close with Hida old town. The staff helpful and nice, speak English very well. Room of female domitory pretty big for me. I would recommend !!!

Awesome location, hate the stairs!!
First thing first, awesome location, just across the road from the train/bus station (less than 2 min walk). I book the slightly bigger single dormitory room which I would recommend. So you got some leg room to stand and move around. Now for the negatives, reception counter is close between 10-3pm!! Even if you are 10 min before 3pm, they would still not check you in until 3pm! Which I thought was pretty ridiculous! Second negative, the stairs to the reception and hostel. They have sign saying staff is more than happy to help carry heavy luggage but since reception is close between 10-3pm, that sign is pretty much redundant!! So to get someone to help you carry heavy luggage, I would recommend to book somewhere else. Third negative, well it more neutral, it the very very simple breakfast provided. Basically bread and coffee that's it. It first come first serve. So be quick. I did saw some boil eggs, but I think those came later. Overall, good location, but service was under par compare to how other Japanese services are.

Nice hotel and staffs! It's really close to Takayama station and Morning market. The kitchen is also great. You can buy food stuffs and cook at the hotel. They prepared some oil and sauce for you and it's free! I really love the bathroom. It's so so clean and quite big. I stayed for 1 night in bunkbed room, bed is very comfy that you can feel comfortable. But air-con is a little bit hot. Anyway, I still recommended this hotel!

Close to takayama JR station and the bus terminal. Very clean and nice hostel with complete facility. Only drawback is they are located the second floor of the building without elevator but the staffs are very nice helping us carry the luggages

I was extremely impressed with this place. It was extremely clean and had great facilities (kitchen, hairdryer, washing machine). The location was also fantastic as it was right across from the station and a little walk from the main attractions in Takayama. Highly recommended!
