This property is quite a gem for those who are travelling with family and/or young children and need to spend time in the room. For the price, I cannot think of a better hotel I have stayed at. Our suite was very spacious with an incredible ocean view. The air conditioner took some time to get going but, we realize from staying in other hotels, it was for our good because it did not turn the room into an ice box and we were able to sleep very comfortably. The staff was outstanding and commendable for traditional Asian hospitality. They were the strongest asset of the hotel, in this writer's opinion. In addtion, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. If one wants to eat out on a whim's notice, the street food in front is clean, popular and, oh so yummy! Highly recommend the Hompton hotel for value, quality and overall excellence.

"Seaview rooms makes it a worthwhile stay and a beach front that’s attached to the hotel is a game changer. Near to local food offerings thus not having to go to town for meals makes for a relaxing vacation. Pool is sizeable though it's cleaning hours from 11 to 12pm was annoying but understandable ..."

"It's a nice hotel for the rate charged. Great service and nice location by the beach. Only complaint I have is the cramped bathroom. The door to the bathroom opens inwards and makes it very tight to move around in the bathroom. I don't understand why they don't have the door open outwards instead. ..."
