"I really loved my experience at Tierra Hotels, the service, the atmosphere, rooms, everything was amazing. The only thing in my opinion that could be better was the food, that was good sometimes and not so good a few other times. It was French style, so sometimes you would have to repeat a dish as the food was insufficient. The bed was a bit hard for my tasting but luckily the hotel had a pillow top which helped tremendously. The service was beyond amazing and very professional, everyone that worked at the hotel was very nice and helped the guests with any questions or needs they had, with a lot of goodwill and a smile on their faces. The tour guides were very nice folks, professional and very knowledgeable about Atacama and its mysteries and beauties and they all spoke very good English. Tierra is an amazing hotel and that's why they charge premium. I just think they need to improve the food, it was not the best. "

"Quiet hotel with great facilities. Parking space are plenty, there are heated pool and sauna and also a spot to watch the stars. There is a complimentary shuttle to the main city area as well. In comparison to other hotels in the area this is a win. "

"What a fantastic find. This family run adobe style motel excelled in service. The owner was full of great advice on things to do, and even purchased our tickets for Chaxa when we couldn't get the website to work. The only downside is it is out of town and the roads are narrow and windy, but the upside is peace and quiet."

"If you have a car, you cannot get it cheaper for the quality in San Pedro, which is notoriously expensive for the mediocre quality of accommodations. It is quiet, spacious and clean, abd has a reasonably well equipped kitchen. The two rooms, bathroom, and kitchen all lead outside to rhe porch, which can be uncomfortable in winter (it gets cold at night). The heaters provided barely manage to keep the temperature bearable at night. The grounds are shared with a neighbour who periodically goes to tender his horse. The host told us so, but once he arrived at 2 o'clock in the morning, which frightened us. The hostvis very accommodating and communication is good (I don't know if he knows English). Once, the driveway was flooded as the irrigation channel overflowed. Otherwise, a good budget option in San Pedro if you have a car."
