The hotel and staff were great. The location has wonderful view. There is currently road construction that blocks the road to the free hotel parking some part of time.

Beautiful views.
Beautiful hotel, with spectacular views of the lake. But, it was a bit of a hike to the waterfront and city center. The walk down wasn’t bad, the walk back was cab worthy. The hotel is very nice, excellent breakfast, service and views.

A little worn, but very pleasant
This is a nice place. The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful, and the view of the lake is just stunning. The room, carpet, and some of the furniture had seen better days. But the bathroom was updated and the bed was comfortable. Just a note, the hotel is a very steep walk 20 minutes up a hill from town. You wouldn't walk it unless you wanted some serious exercise. But overall, I'd return.

Incredible Views!
No idea where to start. This place is heaven on earth! Starting with a very easy train ride directly at the bottom of the hill from the hotel is the station (no, you can't hear the train). The hotel had their Tesla (700hp awesome car) pick 4 of us up with luggage. The most beautiful, well kept, and updated hotel I've stayed in while in Europe. This is a 5 star place where I will bring my family next year to vacation. The staff is very eager to please from washing laundry to getting you coffee. What a wonderful place!

Excellent hotel, with a great view overlooking the mountains and the Tegernsee lake. Very courteous and helpful staff with a dedication towards customer service.. Nice breakfast spread that can be enjoyed on the sun terrace. Room had a large bathroom and a jacuzzi in the balcony, which was extremely nice..

A fantastic stay
We couldn't have wished for better. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The views from our room, the dining room and spa were breathtaking looking across Tegernsee valley, lake and mountains. The beds were fantastically comfortable. Breakfast was extensive and of great quality. The location was perfect for us, far enough up the hill to provide absolute peace but a straight forward walk down the hill to Tegernsee. The hotel is also right by some fantastic trails up the mountain with access to beautiful alpine spots and wonderful huts for en route drinks and food. We didn't want to leave! Thanks for a wonderful holiday, we hope to be back soon.

My daughter and I stayed at the Westerhof Hotel in Tegernsee for one night. The friendliness of all staff was outstanding and the comfortable and spacious double room had the most amazing view over the snow covered Tegernsee lake and the surrounding mountains.There was tea ,coffe and delicious cakes for us all day.The buffet breakfast included several Bavarian specialities and we ate it in a very clean and comfortable dining room looking straight out onto the mountains. The hotel is on the top of a smaller mountain and it is advisable to get a taxi from the station or a free lift from the hotel unless one is really fit! We would definitely stay here again!

The room with 12 views of Tegernsee!
Fantastic, comfortable and affordable room with scenery that changed by the hour. First the clouds would slide into the valley then the sun would rake the trees then after sun set, the lights. Nice stay!

Wir waren mit Hund eine Woche im Westerhof Tegernsee. Ausgesprochen sehr freundliches Personal am Empfang und beim Frühstück! Hilfsbereit und herzlich! Zimmer sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet mit Seeblick. Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert!

Preis/Leistung steht in KEINEM Verhältnis. Zwar kommuniziert die Rezeption schon vor der Anreise mit dem Gast - das bedeutet aber nicht, dass die Wünsche auch umgesetzt werden. Dann lieber ein wenig mehr ausgeben und zum Bachmayr. Wahrscheinlich waren wir einfach die falschen Gäste.

Wonderful view of the lake and mountains around, very comfortable rooms, extraordinary breakfast, fine decoration alpine style, friendly staff, coffee available all day long... The garden area is very nice and well kept! Perfect in every single detail! Definitely would stay there again!!

Wir, ein Rentnerehepaar waren vom 10.10.-17.10.2016 in diesem sehr schön gelegenen Garni-Hotel. Dank der Buchung der Seniorensuite haben wir eine optimale Woche am Tegernsee verbracht. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das Wetter hat auch "gepasst", wir brauchten keinen Schirm, dafür warme Kleidung.

O Hotel fica localizado na parte alta da cidade com uma belíssima área verde ao redor e com bancos para sentar e apreciar a cidade e o lago. Ficamos em um quarto com varanda voltada para a cidade com uma bela vista. Hotel tem um estilo rústico, limpo com um toque de simplicidade. Quarto com chinelos e roupões. A cama era ampla e confortável. Banheiro com chuveiro e de bom tamanho. Tinha um bom café da manhã.

Freundliches Personal. Für das kleine Zimmer und das viel zu kleine Badezimmer zu teuer. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Da abgelegen braucht man bei Regen ein Auto zum Abendessen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man die 300 Stufen nach Tegernsee absteigen.

Super Hotel in einer herrlichen Lage am Tegernsee.
Das Hotel liegt auf einem Berg in Tegernsee. Den See kann man zu Fuß in 15 Minuten (gemütliches Gehen) erreichen. Der Ausblick vom Hotel auf den See ist traumhaft. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich oder "übertrieben". Das Frühstücksbüfet ließ keine Wünsche offen, über Weißwurst, Brez'n, frischen Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, hausgemachte Marmelade und frishcen Waffeln war alles dabei. Der Saunabereich war sehr sauber und hat zum Relaxen eingeladen. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet, einzig das Bad war uns etwas zu klein. Dafür war aber alle picco bello sauber. Zu jedem Zimmer gibt es einen Balkon oder eine Terasse mit Seeblick.

Hotel in Traumlage
Die Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft ueberfordert damit, dass wir trotz Anmeldung mit einem Kleinkind angereist waren und um ein Kinderbett gebeten hatten. Erst wurden wir in ein kleines Zimmer ohne Zustellbett gebracht, dann in ein grosse mit Auszieh-Coach. Unser Kleiner ist aber erst 1,5 Jahre alt und waere da heraus gefallen. Letztenendes hat das Team alle hinbekommen, es war allerdings nicht einfach und nicht direkt angeboten. Schade, denn das Hotel liegt traumhaft, hat einen top Ausblick und das Fruehstueck ist der absolute Wahnisnn. Generell das Getraenkeangebot den ganzen Tag ueber ist sehr grosszuegig.

Ein tolles Hotel, in dem wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben. Sehr aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal, egal ob an der Rezeption, im Frühstücksbereich, zur Kaffeezeit oder zum Abendbrot. Wir bekamen auch gute Tipps zu Aktivitäten in der Gegend.

Hotel mit grandioser Aussicht über den Tegernseer
Wir waren für eine Woche im Hotel Westerhof, der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Beigetragen haben dazu vor allem das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das stehst sehr zuvorkommend war und auf Fragen bzw. Anliegen einging und diese auch offensichtlich gerne und kompetent beantwortete. Ein weiterer Wohlfühlfaktor waren das hervorragende Frühstücksbuffet, die gepflegte Außenanlage und vor allem die grandiose Aussicht auf bzw. über den Tegernseer.

Wir hatten nur 4 Tage in Tegernseer. Hotel liegt sehr schön, allerdings ist es zum Ort Tegernseer ziemlich weit zu Fuss.

Vom Hotel aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick über den Tegernsee! Der Fußweg vom Ort zum Hotel ist allerdings angstrengend, da es steil bergauf geht! Frühstück sehr gut, Abendessen (Menü) - separat gebucht - war genial! Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmereinrichtung zweckmäßig (Doppelzimmer comfort).

Einfach fantastisch. Das Hotel ist ein Traum. Der Blick auf den See ist der Beste! Tolle Lage, toller Service, einfach perfekt,... Wir haben noch zwei weitere Nächte gebucht, weil es so toll war. Wir konnten uns dort sehr gut erholen .
