"This was a nice hotel, they are working on upgrading the rooms,ours was an older room outdated but had a nice view. The staff and bell hops were great. The breakfast buffet was very good too. We hope to return one day."

"It’s definitely clean and the staff are friendly. Parking was a teeny bit tricky as it’s a public lot under the hotel you really got keep your eyes open for. Our rooms windows didn’t open so the fresh air couldn’t get in. I think our room must of had a balcony at one point, but it looks like a renovation removed it, which was too bad. Obviously it’s handy for the Sea Bus and all transportation options and things you need are literally at your fingertips. I’m staying again in a couple of weeks, I’ll make sure to request a room with a window that opens, otherwise it gets quite stuffy."

"Unexpected night in Vancouver Garry at check in was great at welcoming us and giving a sense of calm that was much needed. The room was great, clean & spacious. Haneiah (sp?) at concierge was very helpful in suggesting a few restaurants in the area. Dinner was great and we had very good food and service. All in all it was just what the doctor ordered after all the drama and flight delays and searching for mis placed bags that got us here 10 minutes too late to catch the last ferry to Nanaimo. We had a pleasant evening in Vancouver. Thanks to the Fairmont Waterfront staff for making this lost day an evening to remember. J. R. Radtke 9/7/26"
