"Enjoyed a 3 night stay at this comfortable older hotel. Very comfy bed and lovely big room with big ceilings. Liked the heritage and chilled vibe of the place. Hotel also served good valued tasty food and drink. Share bathrooms were well stocked and kept clean. We were able to walk to Freemantle train station in about 20 mins. We found it a good base to explore Freemantle. Some nice cafes nearby as well. Liked that the hotel offered complimentary slippers. Room had all the amenities we needed."

"A real gem. This unique hotel is in an incredibly convenient location. The rooms are very efficient and comfortable. The front-desk staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Only difficulty for us was the music downstairs in the bar and restaurant until midnight when we are usually early to bed. Please note steep, narrow stairs, but it is a historic building."
