"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. "Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 rooms adjoining, with a gorgeous view of the water. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, both in answering questions before we even got there, as well as being on hand while we were staying. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the small personal touches (breakfast snacks, water in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows) were wonderful. They were also helpful with booking breakfast for us at the pub just down the street. Highly recommend; would happily stay there...

"This is a lovely bead and breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee available in the room as well. The bed and breakfast is on a working farm and is a bit out of the way but in a beautiful setting and was very peaceful."
