We booked this hotel mainly for the nice public bath and the room size. We knew the hotel was a bit far from the JR station but did not expect the surrounding areas to be bare of food and retail options. If you do not mind walking 15min to the JR station or taking the trams to the station, this hotel is still acceptable

The staff were very welcoming and hospitality was great. They helped in every way I asked. The public bath was over crowded at times so they could schedule times to the guests when they arrive during high usage season.

Very reasonable pricing, quite comfortable for a short stay. This is a “business” hotel and as long as you know that beforehand it’s fine. The mens bathing area is very nice! That said, I heard the women's area was not so nice. It would have been nice if extra mini towels for the spa area were made available. Pass on the breakfast though, really poor quality and not worth 1000 yen. You’re better off just buying something from a convenience store for breakfast.

Convenient, clean stay
Convenient location. The room is small (to be expected) but has everything that you need and was clean. Because it’s so small, the room can get a bit stuffy but there is AC and you can open the window to get some fresh air. My room was next to the elevator so it was a bit loud when people were talking outside, but that didn’t happen often.

About 8-10min walk to the train station. Affordable but tiny space and right in front of the light rail which you will here a “door bell” sound each time it arrives between the hours of 5:30 am and 10 pm, even with the windows closed. Light sleepers be advised

Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Located on the tram tracks but not too noisy if you do not open the windows. Easy walk to shopping, dinning and train station.

One thing didn’t feel good was the lady staff walked into the onsen to check the water temperature while lots of naked men inside enjoying the onsen. Though it might be normal in Japan, but not too appropriate for a hotel catering customers come from all around the world.

Great place to stay!
Lovely access to the in-hotel onsen which was fabulous. The room is slightly outdated however, the overall comfort of the hotel was great. We made an accident with our booking and the hotel immediately corrected us without any additional costs! Highly recommended!

First Time To Toyoma
The room is small, old style Japanese like business hotel. The bonus is it has a small onsen. The breakfast is very sumptuous which I enjoyed. Not too far from central Shinkansen station about 10-15min walk.

Acceptable hotel
Overall pleasant stay. Not much too offer around hotel vincity and it's about 15mins walk from toyama station. Look dated on the exterior and lobby but room are acceptable. Hotel name are not visable from far.

Renovation needed
Room was marginally small, interior finishes were dated. Air condition was weak too, needed to rely on the air refreshing machine to supply cool air into the room. Other than that, it was still a reasonably comfortable hotel with helpful English speaking staff.

I'ld be happy to stay there again.
Tiny Room (but it Japan after) Free Wifi, friendly staff. I would not hesitate to stay again. Sadly I did NOT get to try out the hot spring bath. Price was good. I checked out a day early, not expecting a refund for the day, but they sent one. There is no DO NOT DISTURB sign.

Very nice hotel for the price
Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, it was a little difficult to find. Very clean, modern hotel and room was spacious for Japanese standards. Walking distance to castle and shopping area. Located next to canal and lovely area to walk or take a short canal boat ride.

Excellent breakfast buffet and public bathtub
One of the best breakfast selection I had. They are not only providing the routine western and Japanese breakfast selection but also provide the unique local cuisine even for the breakfast. It was very filling and delicious. The size of room was bit small so i'd recommend to use thr public bathtub in the top floor providing amazing view of the mountain range.

Nice hotel in Toyama
We stayed here one night before starting the Alpine route. It is a nice functionally hotel. There is nice cafe in the lobby with tastily food, a washer and dryer upstairs, and clean rooms. For our purposes, I wish we would have stayed somewhere closer to the train station.

Good starting point for the alpine route
Pleasant hotel where we stayed overnight before taking off for the alpine route. They offered the service (like many other hotels in Toyama) to transfer our large bags to the other end of the route, which made our trip comfortable. It is about 10 min on foot from Toyama and Dentetsu-Toyama station. Common baths on the 11th floor were relaxing but bed was rather too small for 2 adults.
