"I read the reviews beforehand, so i was prepared for the property to be in a sketchy area and to be really rundown. Honestly, it wasn't that sketchy and the guests checking in at the same time as us were average and just here for the weekend. It wasn't until we left on Sunday that we saw a bunch of sketchy and suspicious people hanging around the property looking for drugs. The one star for the staff that i gave was purely because the front desk lady was nice. What bothered me was that the "housekeepers" weren't in any distinguished uniform or name tag, so when we requested a late checkout for noon, i would have assumed that the housekeepers were given that information. No. We had 3 different men come knock on our door at around 10, 11, and 11:30. And when i repeated that we had a late checkout, they didn't understand. That was pretty irritating. Otherwise, the only annoyances were the phone not being labeled, the tv remote working half the time, and the door being hard to fully close. But the room itself was roomy and clean and nice for the price, and the lost paddy pub next door was pretty delicious!"

"Beware—online photos and ratings for this hotel are extremely misleading. It absolutely does not deserve a 9.0 rating. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The building and furniture are outdated and poorly maintained, giving the entire place a run-down feel. Breakfast was another major issue. The food did not seem fresh, and while guests were standing in line waiting, staff were actively taking food away instead of restocking it, leaving several people without anything to eat. The hallways had a strong chlorine smell, which was unpleasant and overwhelming. We also had ongoing issues with the key cards—they frequently didn’t work for both the room and building access. The beds creaked loudly with any movement, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On top of that, the bedding and towels had a noticeable odor, similar to fried food, which was very off-putting. To make matters worse, the TVs had no internet connectivity, so streaming services like Netflix were unusable. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I travel often. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others."

"The room we stayed in was filthy and not even clean enough for us to shower. The breakfast provided was pathetic and we didn't even have anything to eat from there. I can't believe how bad the conditions were for going up the stairs. The pictures online show a completely different picture. I have stayed in La Quinta prior this was by far the worst one ever and it was just a pit stop for travels. It was so dirty and not swept. Found blood on the door way in the bathroom and refused to bring anything inside besides the toothbrush. Completely disgusted. "

"I guess the worst thing was we were on the second floor with no elevator and I have a bad leg. When we asked to be on the first floor, it wasn’t available. The room was clean. I didn’t really see the staff much. It was OK, but we won’t book there again. "
