The view from our 28th floor floor-to-ceiling windows was one of the few redeeming qualities, along with easy access to transportation, shopping, and dining. The hotel is not well kept up, and the outdoor pool is out of service during the Chinese New Year holiday. Our room was tiny, with just enough room to walk around the two twin beds.
The room wasn't very clean, and they don't provide bottled water. The coffee cups in my room were dirty when we arrived, and they were neither cleaned nor changed during our four-night stay. The free breakfast is limited to two options: breakfast sandwich, or a Chinese breakfast with noodles, porridge, and mantou. When I ordered hot chocolate for my daughter instead of the coffee or tea options included, I was charged HKD27, and when it still had not come when we finished eating, and I went to ask for a refund, the hostess yelled at me. Next time we will definitely plan ahead and make reservations far enough in advance to get a good price at a better hotel.
