"Free minigolf course out front. There weren't any putters available when we had time so didnt play. Families with children were enjoying it. Beds not firm enough for our liking. Breakfast was good. McQuade's Pub and Grill nearby had great food. Room was clean. Smoke detector was missing."

Beacon Pointe on Lake Superior

8/10 Good
"Staff was very helpful, welcoming and kind. Room was great, however, parking not ideal and the 2nd floor balcony was a huge let down. The balcony with the great views is obviously the main selling point of the rooms, and we were so excited to just sit and relax out there for hours, but, the balcony was dirty with dead bugs, and left over food/crumbs/spills from previous guests and did not give privacy vibes at all, as there was a weird separation inbetween balconies, where you can see in rooms and the people next to you, we had to sit with the people next to us and it just made the balcony experience awkward for everyone."
