Just want to say, it was a great stay at this property, location was good. Spa was ok. Gym not so great. Staff were great and very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the villa. Few negatives, mosquitoes were a problem, feel like burinh stucks or spray could be used when turn down service happens. (Had this in other hotels/villas similar) got bitten alot. Breakfast is too big and not great. We eat out everyday. There is so much potential for this place just needs to tweek a few little things. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, i would recommend the hotel. And would stay again if these things were implemented

Nice hotel in a great location - if you’re after being in nature when close to busy Ubud. The hotel is getting a little old however this was no problem.

Beautiful resort. Away from the business of ubud, but was accessible to all the shops and restaurants either by 20 minute taxi ride or a 30-40 minute walk on the ridgewalk.

Absolutely beautiful resort
Absolutely beautiful resort! The room was spotless and the pool area was stunning and extremely peaceful. The staff throughout the hotel could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It was the best service we had on the entire trip! Would definitely recommend!

We shared feedback about this property, and the staff basically shared that they had received no complaints, meanwhile we shared pictures of dirty towels, dirty sheets, molded bath robes, etc. we selected this hotel because of how close it was to everything, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The resort is fairly old and it is not being taken care of properly. Rooms that aren’t being used, they are not throughougly cleaning them, maybe because they don’t think that anyone will check the sheets and bed. One of our couples LEFT, found a new property and met with us every day. We tried to get a refund to find a new property and were told “no complaints had been filed, even after sharing pictures”. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SEPTEMBER 2023

Recommend to couples
Stayed in the pool villa for 3 nights with my partner and was an amazing experience. Staff were so caring and helpful. Food wasn’t the greatest for the breakfast buffet but apart from that everything else was perfect. Recommend the beauty for two package for the massage as was so romantic with the bath overlooking the Forrest. Definitely coming back with my girl!

Our stay at The Lokha Ubud was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly and helpful during our whole stay and the grounds and our villa were beautiful! The Lokha is right at the top of the famous trail walk down to Ubud and there are several delicious juice/smoothie stands just steps from the resort. Do yourself a favor and book your stay in Bali at The Lokha Ubud!

I’ve stayed here many times over the last ten years and I’m surprised by the decline of the hotel. Ceiling leaking during a rain storm. In order to get warm water I was advised to let the tap run for 15 minutes which is so wasteful. Rooms are run down and over all the hotel is not clean. The staff is still friendly and nice but they don’t have much to work with sadly. This will be my last stay at the Lokha Ubud.

Overpriced
For the price, it wasn’t much better than basic priced hotels. Room was nice, gym was terrible, spa was overpriced, and the food was average. Also an awkward location that means you have to spend lots of money on taxis if you want to travel into ubud.

The staff did a good job at remembering my name during my stay and my birthday. The hotel food is limited and okay at best for the price. The food at the luxury hotel in the village is much better and top notch. I did not smell cleaning supplies at anytime during my stay; instead smelled urine in the bathroom around the base of the toilet that has never been cleaned and sanitized. The smell in the property bathrooms is very bad. Do not book the hotel tours; the service is lack luster. I had one driver be sexually inappropriate during my tour of Ubud and expected me to pay for his meals after paying 900,000 rupiah for the tour. I was charged 1,000,000 rupiah for the Uluwatu tour even though the listed cost is 900,000 rupiah. The driver seemed as if he was uninterested in taking me to the places I was most interested in. Do yourself a favor a find a local driver who will be kind and take you on a tour. Overall, I was disappointed in my stay. The hotel looks nice in pictures but is unsanitary to my standards.

The property is beautiful as it's surrounded by lush green everywhere. Gorgeous views. With an amazing staff. Loved this place. My only feedback is the a bit if the cleanliness. Also I'm not sure if it's the air being pumped in to the room. But it always smelt like cabbage?! And only in the room?!!

Absolutely amazing. The hotel is great, the staff helpful and attentive. We where at a villa with private pool / totally worth it !/ the pictures speak for themself, I think. It was very relaxing and probably the best option if you are staying in Ubud. The hotel is a short 10-15 min walk from the central area of the town or a 10 min cab ride / if at night I recommend to take a car as the streets are not very well lit/. The breakfast was great.

The hotel is great, very nice rooms and grounds. Staff are very helpful, the breakfast was really good and there is a great shuttle service to Ubud. Only down side - would be great if the room fridge - minibar actual worked so you could keep drinks/milk/water cold. It was one of those pretend fridges. But the staff were great at bring up an ice bucket when requested. Overall loved our stay and can highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

The property itself is beautiful but there’s something missing. Character? I guess it’s bland. For a hotel out of town, perhaps it needs some. Some little touches and some brightening up. Maybe we are just spoilt by the amazing accomodation we had in Seminyak. Food was not great, edible but not great.

Quiet and cozy while staying in The Lokah Ubud. It was good to walk along the promenade instead of the shuttle bus to downtown. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. It is place to stay again.

The hotel is situated in a valley, at the end of the Campuan Ridge Walk, surrounded by rice fields and palm trees. We loved sitting in the open air lounge area having drinks, listening to the sounds of nature and watching the odd gecko scale the wall. The hotel also do a weekly fogging to keep mosquitos at bay in the open air areas of the hotel. And we never found the bugs to be an issue during our stay. You can walk into Ubud town via the ridge walk (25 minutes) which is a beautiful walk and there are a couple of small warungs to get food from on the same road. We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times and loved the food and mocktails - the Satay Campur and Mie Goreng was a firm favourite - not forgetting the chocolate lava cake! The hotel also offer a free afternoon tea in the lobby (3pm-5pm) which was a lovely touch. We stayed in a fully air conditioned Suite with beautiful valley views from our balcony and a queen sized bed. The pillows were so comfy! I loved the rainfall shower and the sunken bath. Every single staff member we came into contact with at the Lokha were all exceptional - especially the restaurant and bar staff. They were all so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Staff always greet you with a smile and a hello, even when just passing by.

Beautiful resort
Lovely villa, beautiful resort however there were some issues. Fridge not working, power failure from time to time, bad smell in toilet. We also ate the special Balinese bbq which was extremely disappointing. However, the a la carte menu was good.Our villa was absolutely gorgeous
