"This was a nice hotel in a good location for Lisbon. We walked or used Uber mostly getting it at the Hard Rock Cafe or just up the street. There is a wonderful brunch restaurant about a blockto the right of the hotel. The Italian restaurant to the right of our hotel, on the left side is excellent. We ate there twice. The Portuguese restaurant right next to the hotel was good for lunch and the people were very nice. We didn’t have a car and didn’t need one for this location. We enjoyed the Tuk Tuk ride, the Fada concert, tram 28, we tried to do the sailing trip, but it was raining. Recommend that you bring umbrellas, but if you forget, we were able to pick them up for five euros each. even in the rain we enjoyed Lisbon."

"This was our third (lengthy stay, 16 nights) at Avenida Palace. Everything and everyone from check in to check out was outstanding. Our 6th floor room overlooking the street was amazing….spacious, comfortable, considerable storage space, good size vanity and bathroom. Housekeeping and turn down service was always prompt, courteous, and immaculate. The breakfast buffet was overflowing with fresh fruit, breads, eggs, meats, pastries, juices, coffee, and pots of tea. Breakfast staff were warm and welcoming, helpful, and obliging. All the staff (reception, concierge, bell hops, breakfast staff, housekeeping, bartenders) are professional, and obvious that they all enjoy working at the Avenida Palace. Staying at this hotel, surrounded by majestic rooms and surroundings,and service provided by professionals is a treasured experience!"

"Everything was great, specially Maria, from the front desk. We came one night asking for the hotel tour, at almost 8pm and she was kind enough to give us the tour. We knew that the tour was at 6pm, but she didn't hesitate and was a great help to us to understand the history of the building, which, by the way, it's amazing."
