"The apartment was in brand new condition and was excellently laid out with separate kitchen/lounge and sleeping areas. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional. This would be a great place to stay for anyone who wanted to visit Edinburgh for a few days. We also liked the large flat screen smart TV. "The only downside was there was not a coffee station for guests at the hotel. You have to wait until the doors open for breakfast. There is a coffee shop nearby, but it would be more convenient for guests if coffee was provided 24/7. The new renovated rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable .. however, the walls are paper thin."

"The Hotel was clean, and seemed like it was a brand new establishment. Our room was very quiet and the room temperature control kept our room extremely comfortable. I loved the beautiful location and the on site restaurant. The hotel provided 24/7 coffee via very nice coffee brewers, which offered also brewed latte’s, etc. All of this was complimentary. I can highly recommend Yotel."

"I was not impressed with the standard of service provided by the hotel. The staff were either unhelpful and unfriendly, or friendly but untrained to deal adequately with the public. The main complaint I have was the absence of housekeeping of the room, which I was unaware of before the booking and which I would not expect from a 3 star hotel. In addition we had to collect towels and even toilet paper from the reception. Because no housekeeping was provided by the hotel, the toilet was not cleaned during our stay and we had to clean it ourselves!"
