"We arrived prior to our check in time so they took our bags and sent us a text when our room was ready. Allowed us to start enjoying the city instead of just waiting around. The grounds are beautiful, the service excellent, the meals delicious. The bed was very comfortable. Location was convenient to many of the attractions. I loved the history of this historic hotel. Special shout out to Zachary at the valet stand. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury and comfort."

"Front desk staff was very friendly. We received a free upgrade without asking, and our room was ready for check in 2 hours early. The hotel is in a great location; only a 5-10 minute walk to the main harbour area. The hallways and, our room, were a bit outdated and need some TLC (not quite as good as they show in the pictures online). A table, or something similar, should be added up in the loft (where the bed is) to put your suitcase on. In our room we only had the bed to put the suitcase on, which is a bit inconvenient. The front gardens are very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
