"The room is nice. Service are great as well as the breakfast. The view is also beautiful on the river side and from the swimming pool, it‘s really relaxing. Stay here for the second time, still love it. Only thing that should be improve is the air-con. Seemed like all the room we‘re staying this time including our friends‘ rooms, the air-con wasn‘t quite cool enough even though we‘re turning to only 18c with highest fan speed already. "

"I treated myself to this place. My room was very nicely furnished. The resort is excellent. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff at reception and in the dining room were excellent. It was a nice surprise at poolside to see the hot air balloons take to the air on the other side of the river."

"Had an excellent 3 day stay here. Beautiful location, excellent staff, and the restaurant served up delicious food as well. Slightly on the edge of town, but city center was just a 10-15 min walk away. And the hotel offers a free shuttle in if you don’t feel like walking. "

This place is perfect if you like traditional wooden structures with bamboo thatching set around a tranquil green courtyard with seats and hammocks, But it isn’t suitable as a party space so this should keep it as a place to read after a day doing adventure activities It is just a short walk to the main section of town with key restaurants including a super popular vegan one but lots of excellent meat options if that’s your preference and directly across the road has excellent sunset views without hoards of Insta wannabes Note: the facilities are basic and a bit older, and the beds firm but the rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful It’s one of my top ten after 30 years of backpacking all over the world"
