"One night stay was fine. It’s a great hotel. Staff was excellent. Beware the junk food prices. Just be healthy and you’ll be fine. Locker was low on battery. Did not use but wanted to. Was a single night so didn’t mention to staff. "

This place is perfect if you like traditional wooden structures with bamboo thatching set around a tranquil green courtyard with seats and hammocks, But it isn’t suitable as a party space so this should keep it as a place to read after a day doing adventure activities It is just a short walk to the main section of town with key restaurants including a super popular vegan one but lots of excellent meat options if that’s your preference and directly across the road has excellent sunset views without hoards of Insta wannabes Note: the facilities are basic and a bit older, and the beds firm but the rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful It’s one of my top ten after 30 years of backpacking all over the world"
