Very clean and well maintained rooms and property. The staff were attentive and the service was excellent throughout the entire stay. The pool was very well looked after and the view and proximity to the river and all its activities was superb. The restaurant and bar are fantastic and well priced for a resort. Breakfast was a highlight. I look forward to coming back here.

This hotel is the best choice in Vang Vieng if you have the option. The rooms, grounds and dining are all excellent, but the best is the staff. Kai at the front desk was so helpful and professional. She really made my stay more than perfect! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. And to do the balloon ride with Above Laos - my trip highlight!

Beautiful aspect , friendly staff, awesome happy hour around the amazing pool, rooms were comfortable with lovely outdoor balconies to view the busy river from. Good breakfast and fantastic location. Would Come back here without heaitation

Nice location. Beautiful view. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant menu is great. One down side, their Wi-Fi is unsecured so certain things you can’t do online.

Right on the river running through the town. Quite a few resturaunts and shops walking distance from the hotel. Happy hour was great for watching the sunset over the mountains and seeing the hot air balloons on the sunset tours

Very over priced. Presents itself as a luxury hotel but the service, condition of the building, the facilities and the location is more like a 3 star hotel. I would not stay here again. The staff try hard but basic things like stained bath towels, inconsistent room cleaning, age and functionality of air conditioning units, the few tv channels are unwatchable because no one has bothered to tune it properly or the antenna is unless, also no international channels. The receptionist damaged my hire car putting one of my suitcases in the boot which I could have cause me to lose my £500 deposit. The security gate guard guided me back when I was reversing my car virtually into a post and into the path of a minibus. The restaurant forgetting to bring ordered food and bringing the wrong order. So many basic things for such an expensive hotel is astonishing.

Riverside Boutique Hotel was such a lovely experience from the riverside views to delicious Laos food. The staff were extremely helpful and catered to all our needs. It is also the best mango sticky rice I have ever eaten. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This is one of the most beautiful locations - the views are stunning! The rooms are comfortable and the staff is excellent. The food was a little bland but breakfast was excellent. A must stay!

The staff at the Riverside Boutique Resort in Vang Vieng were unbelievably kind and helpful. They helped us organize trips, moped rental, train tickets, massages, this list goes on. This hotel had an amazing view, very comfortable beds, great food and drink, and lounging areas. So happy we stayed here!

High quality option
Excellent - easy check-in, very clean, good breakfast and facilities, well located in Vang Vieng. We have not stayed anywhere else in VV so cannot truly compare, but considering what we saw whilst wandering the town I think this is likely the best and a cut above other options. It’s on par with Luang Prabang hotels.

Best place in Vang Vieng
Superb location by the river. Beautiful room with large balconies and a lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed and beautiful Laotian fabrics and wall art also offered for sale in the hotel shop. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Take the 35 minute river ride that leaves from a dock steps away.

The service was excellent, whether at the front desk, restaurant, bar or cleaning staff. The food at the restaurant was also outstanding. The room was very nice with a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool.

Fantastic resort
A very relaxing and peaceful resort, despite being close to town center and by a main bridge. View was fantastic. Staff very friendly, courteous and always helpful. Had a mix-up with a booking at the spa but the staff managed to rearrange everything. Food at restaurant was delicious.
