"This hotel is located a little ways outside of Vang Vieng, but it is worth it for the views! This resort is quiet and has the best views of the mountains! It is a quick Loca ride into town (about $3 one way) and has a cute little restaurant near the hotel for nights you just want to stay close and watch the sunset from the back porch. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the room had everything you’d need!"

"As we walked into the hotel, I didn’t see anything elegant about it, despite “Elegant” being part of its name. Our room was full of mosquitoes, and one of the beds had blood stains on the sheets. The bathroom was functional but far from elegant. The bath towels were old and thin. The check-in process was awkward and slow, with the staff member repeatedly asking questions while checking his phone and computer at least ten times. The elevator is the smallest I’ve ever been in. They do offer free...
